Little Mac confirmed as playable character in Nintendo Direct! He has a charged punch attack that can (from what I'm guessing) instant KO opponents, but yeah, he needs to charge it (a loader is visible in the trailer) and he is completely open when charging, so it's a "big risk big reward" attack.

Also, the trailers opening is hilarious. He certainly lives up to the "little" part.

I didn't really care for him to be in the game at first, but they made him out to look really fun.

Also, in the trailer you can see the boxing ring has the Smash logo replaced with boxing gloves, which is to be expected I guess.

I'm thinking they won't show many newcomers until like, a week or so before the game is released like they did with Brawl. Better yet they might not show us all the new fighters at all and we'll have to find them ourselves.

Sakurai said that the fight was on top of the tower before the screenshot was taken. I hope that doesn't mean it's another Delfino Plaza style stage and that the fighters were whisked away on a platform.

Delfino Plaza is my favorite stage. So many memories.

But yeah if you're playing a serious match it's annoying.
