So I got into Project M a few weeks ago along with a few former tourney-goers from the arcade I used to frequent (RIP).
only two gripes so far:
- Ness and Kirby are now seemingly broken as hell. Easily the best characters in the game. Maybe Squirtle somewhere in third.
- 90% of the larger stages have been removed or cut up to resemble something akin to Battlefield.

Wow, you weren't kidding. Lots of details on changed movesets, Sheik and ZS Samus becoming their own characters, frickin' new Pokémon, MEGA MAN'S FINAL SMASH AAAH IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL I THINK I'M GOING TO CRY, Yoshi finally confirmed, new roster member...
Oh, and that the 3DS version comes out this Summer (which isn't very far) while the Wii U comes out in the winter.

The best party of the For Glory mode being a thing is that Final Destination is banned from For Fun.

Situation:
The entire cast of Super Smash Bros is coming to kill you. You now have a .
Will you survive?
I got .
That's pretty good, but I think Captain Falcon, Little Mac, and any of the other super fast, super lethal characters, have it in for me. I tried. Maybe I can jump in front of Samus and hope to deflect her charged shot at someone else.

. I honestly don't think I'd stay alive for very long, unless I could cancel out all their positive thoughts and drown them in negative ones or maybe if I get them all at once. Otherwise this ability would most likely just temporarily "stun" them before they'd cheer each other up enough to break the whole darn thing.

I would actually say your chances are better than most.
R.O.B. is your first threat, but that thing runs out of battery FAST.
You got Mega Man, too. Nothing you can really do about an internalized supercomputer that can't be assaulted via external network. Setting up spikes right after a screen transition is your best bet.
Then there is the Villager. Devoid of any soul or feelings (aside from unabashed joy from the cries of his victims), you are truly the lamb for the slaughter.

I am immune to pain, and likely energy-based projectiles, and maybe elemental stuff like fire. All I have to worry about is heavy blunt weapons. Like Captain Falcon.

So, everyone except Ganon?

@noobles
I would think Kirby and Dedede still have you boned. Also, both the Falchion and Ragnell can banish immortal beings. The Falchion specifically can banish the fel and undead. That's still a pretty rad power.
@CD-Man
Looks like you got the best pick so far. Ganny seems to be the only note-worthy counter, though I wonder if Kirby's Batman-esque intuition to find the counter to any enemy would somehow lead him to find a way to use it against you.
