But seriously, if that 'leak' somehow turns out to be real, I'm gonna be sad, cause weird looking Ness and no Lucas.

Plus! We know that there's going to be an Etrian Odyssey character! And it's not on that list! HAH!

It is possible you select a Mii Fighter from the bottom screen entirely (Pick Mii -> Pick the actual Mii -> Pick their type).

As for Ness, it is quite likely you can just pick between Ninten, Ness and Lucas via palette swaps, and you can choose the other versions of PK Fire, Thunder, etc. via custom special moves.

Not sure if you are serious about the Etrian Odyssey thing and unaware that they composed the Pokemon battle theme.

i have my doubts againts R.O.B. , shulk, and "duck hunt" lol
entire games getting a character slot instead of characters in them.

plus the missing mii fighters.

and on the topic of pallette swap moves then..... the f-ck is dr.mario doing there? doesnt add up... theres inconsistencies

i havent really been following the interviews and such... i wouldve assumed an assist trophy...

and if we're talking "true" final roster.... doesnt explain how the mii fighter is the only confirmed one absent...or "unlocked" i would assume youd pick them the same as something akin to mario kart, with a button with the mii logo.... but what do i know? x.x

the pallette swap/lucina thing i knew about and im still scratching my head over it... because lucas never was a clone of ness to begin with... and the dr. mario/lucina thing would also fit under the replaceable moves idea...

im so lost and confused

even in the past, unlocked clone characters were sloppily slotted next to their clone or within a 1-slot connection to a same franchise character...
