In regards to the undub, it's just like any other PS2 iso so either emulator or a modded PS2. Unless I'm missing something, that is. Kind of a shame and makes me want to work on modding my PS2 for things like this since Fuuka's dubbed voice is enough to make me cry.
And, yeah, Tartarus is pretty boring since it's really just, "and up we go ... and some more ... and ... some more..." but the neat thing was that encounters were actually kind of hard. Well, easy if you exploited weaknesses and one-rounded and "oh crap I'm going to die" if you didn't.

Hmm, I think only P4 has the gay guy stuff.....although, you could call the Magician S.Link in P3's person as a bit yaoi-y...he DOES give the MC a choker...>>;; And there's some subtext...LIKE AKIHIKO AND SHINJIRO.
Persona 4 Kanji and Kuma O_o;;
Kanji gets his first kiss from (Pretty-boy) Kuma. O_O
"The enemy has multiple weaknesses..."
Yeahhh, Tartarus can get really really easy...I usually end the random battles in one turn because of 'ONE MORE!' and 'ALL OUT ATTACKS'!...

Me again, sorry for the double post :3
I'm about 5 1/2 hours into Persona 3. I've reached the 5th floor access station thing ^_^ The date is May 2nd.
I have a question about one of Elizabeth's requests:
It says that May 2nd is the best date to get the pine resin from the archery club. What should I do to get it? It's already evening, so if I missed my opportunity that's cool I just need to know so I can drop the quest. ^^:
I really like it so far. I didn't realize how much it had in common with Etrian Odyssey, but maybe that's because EO is my first dungeon crawler. Persona kind of feels the same in some senses.

Pine Resin
Talk to Yukari at night on the 2nd. All these requests (Requests #81, #86, and #92+) all require you to speak to one of the SEES members at night. That said, they're not too hard to figure out if you know to look at your cast of characters as the sole suspects.
Also of note, Requests #79 plus are all weird stuff. A little tip (no spoilers!) as it's possible to miss a request entirely: Buy every drink from Vending Machines if you see one and it has different stuff than the one in the dorm.
Elizabeth's requests
Thanks ^_^ I kept thinking I needed to find her after school near the archery club or something. I was running around trying to figure out which club room they'd be in.
Should I buy these drinks in order to activate the request? Basically, should I start buying them now or wait?
I like the requests! They give it a fun angle... and took care of my money problems XD
^__^ this game is such fun.

Drinks and Vending Machines; Actual Spoilers involved (sort of!)
The Request is dated so it'll pop up when it's supposed to. The point I was trying to get at was that there's a Vending Machine during the Summer months you will not have access to again and the drinks from that are required for the Request. One of those, "oh you silly game..."
And, some random tips:
Odd Morsel from Tartarus is used for an S. Link later so keep at least one. They're not rare or anything but I forgot about this and had none left when I went to do the S. Link and spent forever running up and down Tartarus trying to get one from a chest >>.
You'll need a vending machine drink early on (and Takoyaki) for another, but the game tells you that when you try to start the S. Link.
When doing S. Links, try to keep a related Persona (ie, Nekomata, a Persona under the Magician Arcana, when doing the Magician S. Link) to get "bonus" points towards finishing them. If you don't, you'll end up getting S. Link days where you do nothing but earn points (ie, no dialogue just says you spent time together).
Learn the bloody Fusion system somehow. You don't need to know that, say, Chariot + Lovers will yields an Emperor Persona but you'd probably like to know that, for example:
Pixie (Dia) + Nekomata (Agi, Cleave) -> Forneus (Bufu, Cleave)
Angel (Garu, Patra) + Forneus -> Lilim (Agi, Bufu, Garu, Zio)
The important thing to note is that the game tells you what skills your resulting Fusion will have. If you don't have the proper skills listed, just cancel and re-do the Fusion and the inherited skills will change. The hardest step will be getting the Lilim with everything on there so just make sure that the intermediate step (the Forneus) has Bufu on it as it's not guaranteed to inherit it.
Lilim by default has Agi + Zio so really, the only thing you're TRYING to do is get Forneus with Bufu and then Fuse it with Angel who has Garu to pass both of those skills onto Lilim.
Oh! Thank you, I'll keep my eye out for it!
Thank you for the hints/tips. Anything you'd like to pass along I will greedily absorb :3
I'm still trying to figure out the Fusion system but it's slow going. But I understand what you're saying and I've started to play around with it.
Thanks for the hint on having the right Persona for the S.Links. I should "equip" (select?) that Persona before talking to the person/doing the activity?
Like have Nekomata 'equipped' before talking to Kenji?

S. Links
No, merely having them with you will be enough. The game tells you when you have the appropriate Persona so just make sure you always get the, "You have Nekomata, a Persona of the Magician Arcana. Do you want to hang out with Kenji?!" message.
Fusion
It's not "too" bad; the main thing is going to be figuring out how to make X Persona and figuring out the Persona on the way that'll inherit the skills you want. Like, if you want Mabufudyne on Succubus, you'll probably want to start with a Persona that has the skill you want and can get to Succubus in very few steps (ie, Byakko [Temperance] + Eligor [Tower] -> Succubus with Mabufudyne).
Personally, I'd use a Guide for figuring out some of the "Bring me an X with Y skill," Requests (like the Succubus one; it's part of the Lilith Request). They're not totally straightforward but some are pretty easy and others are, "wait ... what?". Like, Succubus would be the above, though that means you maxed out Temperance, or the following:
Gabriel with Mabufudyne + Level 60-65 Death or Chariot Persona -> Succubus with Mabufudyne
Lilim + Vetala + Incubus + Succubus -> Lilith
I am also very sad I remember all this.
