I hope this game lives up to my expectations. I can already state that it's probably going to fall into my LttP-TWW-LA-MM grouping (the games that I absolutely LOVE in the series). It will take something pretty drastic to bump it out of that slot. However, TP managed to do it at the end, so I reserve my judgement until then.

Anyways, after taking a break and sitting back down I find that I'm getting more and more use to the controls which is drastically increasing the fun of the game. Flying in particular... which I probably spent far too much time doing than is actually necessary. .... I'm hoping things unlock because as much fun flying is... I feel like I did in OoT/TP riding the horse - fucking barren.

^_^ I'M ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH ALL THE CHARACTERS THAT POP UP ON SCREEN, THOUGH!! :3 I want a Beatreaux plushie!! (I probably murdered the spelling of his name) .... I almost kinda.... don't WANT to do his sidequest......

Also one more complaint that's not REALLY a complaint but... fuck, one of my more popular pages on my MCLoZ website use to be Link's Infinite List of Torture. So, just expect this of me: WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY does Link's parachute open automatically after falling from his bird when landing in Skyloft or on the the Surface?! STOP IT!! It's hillarious to see him go face splat!! I spent half of my time doing it when flying around to random islands. *snicker*

... Yeah, I'm psychotic.... leave me alone....

Why, Bethesda, is female Dragon Scale so ugly? For that matter, why are so many chestplates missing? The female counterpart of cool plates seems to be skin textures. (Including Steel Plate, irony of ironies.)
Oh well.

My Archer wears Hroki's Tavern Clothes. I specify since I'm not actually sure if I've seen anyone else with that outfit on. I need to find a hat or helm I don't dislike, otherwise she'll pimp a Circlet.

Stupid Reflect Blows. Why is a tinman less defensive? Pretty, pretty Ebony armour. :3

Edit: Plus most Light shields kind of suck. The shield is the whole point, so it should be a nice shield.

Hoods look awkward when the armor doesn't match it. Plus, it covers the hair entirely and that's meh.

And ... is it really that big of a deal? The avoidance is cute but Ebony looks better so fuck it. The game is pretty easy if you go that ridiculous (even if you don't go that ridiculous) so who cares. And one could make the argument that Damage Reflection, even without a mitigation boost, cuts down overall damage taken due to it speeding up how fast things die. Unless we're in one-shot everything territory, in which case it is 100% irrelevant which is better since mitigating 0 is still 0.

Yeah, some hoods are clearly fitted to certain armor. Those masks seem to avert that by hanging off the shoulders visibly, but hide even more. Sometimes a lot even more.


Not that big of a deal. Just imperfect. :3

If I really wanted to be ridiculous, I'd go shield as weapon and costless Restoration as shield. And probably Breton or Orsimer, for that matter.

Vegetable Soup + Shield = Infinite Shield Bash.

Or Absorb Stamina, but the idea of doing it because of Vegetable Soup tickles me in ways I can't admit in public.
