Contemplating my next character to beeline straight to maxing out 100 Smithing, Enchanting, Sneak, Pickpocket, and Speech.

And then proceed to never use those skills at all. Well, I'll use Speech since you kind of have to but you know what I mean. Anyway, goal is to start the game at a higher than normal difficulty and see how much I hate myself for thinking up this stupid idea.

I think it needs a mod that ties scaling drops to not your Clvl but their associated Slvl. 70 Heavy Armor skill, for example, necessary to get Ebony Armor drops but you still won't see Ebony weapons without 70 One-hand, Shield, or Two-Hand. Just for added difficulty factor.

Hmmm...

Well, wait a year and pick up the EVERYTHING MOD 3000! at your local any site. :3

Hrm. So greatswords are pretty cool. Especially because of Sweep. So the question becomes, "How can I play a greatsword character and a shield character without growing bored fast?"
They'd need some secondary schtick. Somehow without usurping the already struggling vamp-rogue.

In other news, Quick Reflexes is cool.

Being a Vampire is still kind of a pain in the ass.

Also that video makes me want to go pure shield, I didn't know there was a stamina spell aside from Redguard's racial.

There's an entire perk for it, you can (and probably should, honestly) use Absorb Stamina Enchants, and Vegetable Soup lets you infinitely Shield Bash anyway.

I wonder how long it will take before there's a really boring, long video going through every character create slider.

I haven't heard much about underwater stuff yet. Bethesda said there would at least be useful plants there.



@Vampire: It's actually a 100% additive regen penalty, so increasing regen above zero gets it going again.

Yeah, I didn't take my Wii (or desktop) with me, so I can't play Skyward Sword.

Hm. I'm finding that versatile rogues end up spread too thin.
Also, dual maces are even more cool-looking than greatswords. Fuck.

I leave for a 6hr trip, and Cave Story+ comes out on steam.
