You know what I enjoy most about Skyward Sword so far. Out of all of the Zelda games, it seems to be the one that most allows you to frequently make use of ALL your items despite how much further you get in the game. Hell, sometimes I'm still dragging out my slingshot!

:( Haven't been able to play the game all weekend, though! *sigh* And now my sister reports my wii remote batteries are dead. -_-; FML

My friend was laughing at my attempts of sneak attacks. Lots of me backing in and out to find the right distance to get close, but remain hidden.

Those poor bandits were so stupid...

The Draugrs were not fun, though. Once I got to the Restless Draugr, I nearly died, because it had so much HP, or it just had high DEF.

How useful is Frost Damage in the early game? I found an iron sword of cold and an Ancient Nord Sword of Cold.

To be honest, Frost seems far more like an effect in-game to thwart the player rather than enemies. I haven't found a super awesome use for Frost outside of the fact I enjoy the element more than Fire or Shock. As a spell, it does slow things down though so that's a neat bonus. If you go Spellsword, I imagine the Destruction perk that makes Frost cause Paralysis will apply to weapon effects as well so that is something to keep in mind as well.

Also, just a tip ... Disenchant Magic items you no longer need. It gets you skill ups for Enchanting and that's what builds your effects available to Enchant. The game won't let you disenchant the same effect multiple times so don't worry about keeping track of it all. The game also doesn't care about the potency of the effect either; if it deals 10 Damage or 50, it is still the same effect so just Disenchant whichever has the lowest value so you can sell the other for more gold later.

I noticed that it does something similar with the cheaper equipment one has to build. The experience from an iron dagger is the same as the gauntlets.

I just made a bunch of cheap leather equipment and raised it a little bit. Now, I see why my friend maxed out his Smithing so quickly.

I guess I might end up having to replace both my swords too. Both have the frost enchantment on them, so I'm hoping for something decent in the next town. That or I get some good treasure coming up.

If you're not interested in getting to Godlike levels as quickly as possible, I suggest holding off on maxing out Smithing/Enchanting. I'm purposefully limiting myself to only using found materials for them both so I don't end up hitting stupid high levels on them really early. Even on Master, you can end up with some pretty ridiculous equipment that takes a lot of the bite out of the game.

Well, it's a lot easier on the PC than the 360, I'll say that. xD I played F3 on the 360, which is why I failed at picking locks.
