FFVII Hardtype - Finished Disc 1, yay.
Yuffie's abysmal HP right now, boo.
Seraphic Blue - Currently in Ep15 going through some long ass mountains.
May I just say the following...
The whole sequence in the previous town I was in can GO TO HELL OH GOD I HATED THAT D:.
Let me set it up for you. Lake has to solo that entire part. Fan-freaking-tastic.
First fun part? A boss. Yeah. He's not insanely tough...except for when he charges up (Screen flashes red). He unleashes an attack that will basically own your ass if you don't defend against it. Guess how the first Game Over of the session occured? Yeah I didn't expect to get an attack in the face that did 1700 and KO'd my Lake (His max HP was slightly higher than that, but I was a bit damaged).
After that fight...it gets WORSE. Lake now has to fend off the boss's minions.
How bad is it?
Firstly, you get a chance to heal up/save/upgrade consumables before starting the gauntlet.
You then fight 2 minions, then 2 more, then another 2 minions, then THREE GODDAMN minions, and finally 3 more of them before this hellzone sequence is complete.
What can they do?
They can blind Lake, they can poison him, they do Firely for ~350 damage, and, if fire element is active on the field (Which it will be thanks to that fire spell), can do an attack that'll do like 600+ damage.
Lake has just barely above 1700 HP for me at this point in the game.
Oh yeah, they're generally fast enough that they will all go before you get a chance to move unless you stack stuff to boost Lake's speed.
Lake also can't cast Great Heal since he can only equip a lv2 Healing Magic sphere at best so you need a good stash of D-Great Heal Bottles (Heals 1000 HP).
Finally, the ultimate kick in the pants?
...No chances to heal up in between the minion slaugher once it starts. That means if you enter the next fight with Lake at 50% HP or less, you are probably gonna die.
I Game Over'd twice to this section before I said screw this, armed Lake with a Silver Shield to replace his Healing Magic sphere (and found out that nasty fire attack they do with fire element active is physical based), and finally got past the last battle.
I then realize the area I'm at decided to throw the creepy/disturbing dial up several notches.
You don't even want to know the profession of my new party member I acquired here

.
Went ahead, new area with a team of 4 (Finally!), saved, went ahead...only to find I had to fight a boss and I wasn't at full HP/TP for everyone D:.
Lovely start to the fight when it opens with an attack that can induce Poison & Disease on everyone.
Other then that, this was surprisingly nowhere near the hell I just went through.
Expecting the next boss fight to be a dual boss fight and I'm gonna not enjoy that, ayup.
