I've scoured the Growlanser cover and there's a close match but not as exact as the Gungnir one.

There's still people hoping that it's both but, man ... :/ Dragging it out this long is kind of painful for the Growlanser fanbase. I have to retract a lot of my previous thoughts on the issue and, assuming there is no double reveal (and that it is Gungnir), then this is pretty shitty of Atlus to keep it going this long.

How was Fate/Extra? I was a little interested, but I'm not sure if I want it or not.

The good enough bit? I don't think any title is good enough for the attitude that Atlus has taken on this ("lol be glad we're even teasing you") short of maybe announcing they're releasing everything ever. And they haven't missed a mainline Dept. Heaven entry yet so Gungnir isn't really that big of a surprise of an announcement in the grand scheme of things; at least not a surprise enough to warrant this kind of "publicity" scheme behind it.

Edit: Gungnir popping up for sale on various sites (along with NA boxart) with a June 12th release date. Now, we might still not be done yet but ... there's that.

And then me and Drizzt mowed down a bunch of gnolls. I decided to take the 'brush-off' approach to his words on cooling hatred, but it came off as a threat, and he walked away.

Sometimes, the dialogue choices can be awkward, I guess. Think that happened in Mass Effect, as well, so it seems consistent.

EDIT: I should expect it, but recent news has furthered my hate for the human race. And not in the way they want.

Sounds more interesting than it did the first time I heard of it, though I'd be wondering the point of the eponymous Gungnir's existence.

EDIT: And there's another game being released that starts with G. Wonder if all the people demanding Growlanser changed their minds?
