I won a Humble Indie Bundle 4 a few days ago. It didn't come with Cave Story+, but hey free games are free games.

Bit.Trip Runner is hard as hell, I can't get passed 1-11. I'm also having with Super Meat Boy, but that's probably supposed to be like that.

That's what I meant, the person I won it from didn't pay extra for it, and the other game. Not that I'm complaining about it, of course.

*sigh* Well, started The Witcher 2. Not half bad, so far. Easy, but that's probably because the tutorial said I suck and set it there. Better than the first, tell you that much.
Some reason, can't play at max settings without the FPS taking a hit of some kind. Maybe play around a bit, see what happens.
Medium's running at max FPS.

Wow. Whatever those were, those were the problems. High Spec but all that turned off, running smoothly.

A bit more awake now~ SSAO is Screen Space Ambient Occlusion and, basically, it's a lighting and rendering technique to approximate depth and ... well, ambient occlusion (i.e., how light hits a real three dimensional object). I like the effect so I'd try it on if you it won't hurt your FPS.

Ubersampling is basically a ramped up Supersampling; render it at high resolution, sample the pixels for averaging color, and then downsample it to the screen resolution. Ubersampling takes it a step further and renders it even more times per frame. It smooths jaggies (since it is an AA effect) and reduces overall output noise. At the cost of taking some serious overhead.

So, I broke down and got Skyrim for the PC.

Then turned in Skyrim PS3 to get my brother's present. Doing so actually nullified its purchase, somehow, so it's like I never bought it.

WTB list of good mods for Skyrim PC with minimal headache.

http://www.skyrimnexus.com/index.php

Just look through there. 4GB Skyrim and all the HD packs are nice. There's a mod floating around that improves performance for free essentially (TESV Acceleration Layer). I have a ton of mods so I can't remember what were amazing and what wasn't.

Also, Nightingale Prime is probably the hands down most awesome HD armor retexture so far. Been awhile since I looked, however.

Well, so far:
iCCC/ STEP
Save Game Manager
SkyUI
Script Extender
Balanced Magic
4GB

Some of these have a separate exe, though. Script Extender, 4GB, and also the Nexus Mod Manager. Save Game Manager also is separate, but it does ask you to point to an exe of your choice. I gather it doesn't matter in the end.
