Also, got Sonic Generations for the 3DS, and I can honestly say I am impressed with Sega (for the first time since 2004!)
Besides a few segments that seem buggy, it's an amazingly solid game that captures both the feel of the original and GBA games, and the newer games. Plus, with the 3D effect on it looks simply fantastic. Reminds me why I'm a Sonic fan.

Plus the parts of the 'classic' Sonic levels that use the 3D effect are just sick, and I love seeing zones from lot of the games. Mushroom Zone from Sonic and Knuckles was great. And the 'new' Sonic levels give you that "I'M GOING TO FAST SDLJGBDELRGJBWEDLGQEBG" feeling.

This game is pretty short, though... I only have 2 zones left and I only got it tonight. Haven't gone into the bonus content, though, and apparently there's multiplayer.

Cthullu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII - A amusing set of RPGs featuring Eldritch Abominations and the undead, respectively. Only on normal for both, but I do like the quirk in the battle system; Combos and making it so that prolonged fights make the enemy stronger, causing you to just hurry up and kill them already.

Forever's End - A neat game made in RPG Maker. The beginning looks very much like the start of Final Fantasy IV, but apparently it becomes a lot more later on. The only bad part I see with it is that I just keep not finding those tiny extra parts, so I'll be missing everything and not obtaining 100%, but oh well.

Ghirahim stealing your sword in the first boss fight: The first time since Ganon disarming Link in OOT I muttered, "Oh, shit."

My sister enjoyed watching me fight him too. xD I was honestly having the time of my life, even though he whooped my ass in the second phase.

<3 Izuna. Izuna 2 was just as good, if not at little better in some ways (a little worse than others). ...Should break that game out at some point in the near future.

:3 I've got Sonic Generations (not that I'm an avid Sonic fan... actually... I've only touched like five games my whole life and all of them handheld. This is my break away from that because the videos looked so DAMN FUN). Cutscenes are cheesy (why am I reminded of the years spent watching the Sonic cartoons....) but the zones are fun and I LOVE the two different styles of play.

Dungeons of Dredmor is a fun roguelike if you're looking for one. Art is on the meh side, but it is charming in it's own right, but the game has a sense of humor behind it. Also, it's a fun roguelike even without any of that.

Permadeath is optional, for the record.

Hard Reset has production values behind it that seem to ignore the fact it's an indie title. Painkiller Arcadey FPS vibe behind it. Only put enough time for the Christmas achievement (which became ... Left4Dead GotY Edition. Hooray?) so far. Back to Dungeons of Dredmor ohgodhowhaveIdone20hoursalready.
