So, I did Arrival on Insanity for a change... And DAMN IT. XD I almost got the Last Stand achievement in that fight.

This is my Soldier file, so I didn't have the mobility I had during my first attempt on my Vanguard. I did have Slam, however. It recharged very quickly and helped me get some of the heat on me reduced, so I could heal.

Then the mechs came for the final wave. Now, they weren't so bad until I had nowhere else to run. I used Slam on one and made a run for it while taking out the other's Armor. I ducked behind some cover, but I did not realize Slam actually killed the first one. So, it blew up and killed me. ; o ;

Though initially annoying, I've grown used to the controls of SS, and it's definitely one of the best games I've played for a long time.

A few days have had some lackluster sales (though this day isn't devoid of stuff) but, for the most part, there's been great sales throughout. Picked up around 20 titles throughout the sale.

Dungeons of Dredmor (Roguelike) and Dungeon Defenders (Tower Defense, I guess?) have basically been all that I've played from my recent acquisitions :/

OK. So I really do love Witcher 2 over the first one. It's a whole lot better.

Odd thing is, so far, Vernon Roche is my favorite character. The odd part is I just have a problem with his racism. Otherwise, the guy is hilarious. The entire approach to Flotsam is so much more thanks to him.
