Growlanser IV is one of the best entries in the series. The art is possibly off for some due to the guy's history and all (Urushihara Satoshi) but the game is still rather solid. However, I can't say much on whether or not the game is good so I'll defer judgment to .

And because some people are angry about it, there's no voice acting (English or Japanese) for basically all but the cutscenes. The game script is huge, however, so it makes sense. We're talking multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars big for licensing the VA work* on that; just as bad, probably worse, for hiring a full-fledged English VA cast. Considering the waffling on the series as is, I can't blame them for axing it in favor of getting the game here.





*For the curious, it's due to the way it works in Japan. VA work is owned not by the developers. It is owned by the person/talent agency/something on the VA side of things so JP voice tracks means paying for the rights to use them. For some games, this means its possibly cheaper to hire an English voice cast than to use the JP one.

Edit: If it's to the first images, who knows. Imageepoch has a terrible track record and the whole 2D/3D + third person camera makes me wonder. Wonder what we're looking at when Tokitowa is in motion.

Also, what about Trails in the Sky?

^_^ LOL. Actually, I looked for Trails in the Sky recently Scy, but they were sold out in my gamestop

Thinking about either waiting and seeing if they have it in the future or ordering it offline. *sigh*

(side note: Trails in the Sky doesn't acronym very well, does it... Wrote it out and immediately edited the sentence.)

Also, I doubt it's going get reprinted so barring a used copy return, I doubt you'll get a restock.

Edit: Also, it was on sale for quite some time for $10 ($15?) online during Black Friday + Cyber Monday (+ Christmas, actually).

And, yeah, the used copy thing was what I was referring to. I've only ever seen the game in the used game section. -_-;

Black Friday + Cyber Monday period was a good month before it. I'm fairly certain I posted the deals on it.

Anyway, I was more meaning that there was a large sale of it not long ago that even GameStop was a part of. Chances are high that most stock is cleared out but I suppose it's not out of the realm of returns still.
