Yukari was the last boss in the Doom game I was playing.


The creator gave a nonsensical reason as to why, even if he is kind of right about the doujins XD

Dual daggers isn't really my cup of tea, but I heard they have parrying maneuvers.
Otherwise, I guess chakrams and staves are cool, and longswords are classic. Honorary mention of hammers.

Still don't know what they can actually do, though. The maneuvers sound important.

Trying to get Fraps loadered on here now. 10 minutes of Skyrim: Works well enough, some major lag randomly at one point, no idea why. Could run this at 60 FPS while playing. Just that Movie Maker turns the screen black (normal when just playing it).

I should give Devil Survivor another chance, I wasn't really in the mood for a SRPG when I played it.

Got back to playing P3P, liking it a lot. I picked the male main character first, since I wanted to have an experience closer to the original game and I know there's a lot of changes to the social links and stuff depending on your gender.

I didn't like P3P because I felt they just changed the game engine too much. :[ Well, that and I just got fucking pissed when I needed Ken's hama abilities but instead of casting mahama he would just cast hama... FOUR FUCKING BADASSES ON THE SCREEN that could probably easily be taken out with a SINGLE mahama (or at least take out one and give me a 1More) and the fucking AI just keeps casting hama... oneafteranother >_<

I know people would argue "so just take control of the character" but I LIKED THAT ABOUT THE PERSONA GAMES!! I liked having only one character to control. That made the game more intense (and the battles speedier).

So, yeah, and then fucking up on both Ryoji and Shinji was just icing on the cake. :[ *sigh* And then just feeling like the game was dumbed down. I thought it might even be "me" that I somehow miraculous was just that much BETTER at playing, but, no. I popped the game into my PS2 and played and got my ass handed to me by several bosses on the same mode.

*shrugs*

LOL, anyways, I gotta share my Hero's name in Devil Survivor.

Ever since I looked at the character I absolutely HATE HATE HATE his cat-ear headphones.

In case you have no idea what I'm talking about:


*shrugs* I named him Nekoma "Neko" Kiami (was just going to call him Kami but I thought that was a little pretentious). Still... it's fucking hilarious seeing the characters call him "Neko". Part of me still wishes I had went with the "kami" part but I dunno the story and I didn't want my playthrough to be TOO funny.

I wanted to name him Hero Protagonist, but it was too long.

I usually check to see if the main character in a game has an official name if they don't actually let me customize their appearance or anything, so I named my character Minato Arisato in P3P, since that was the name they gave him in the manga adaptation.

I usually prefer that they don't make you name them if you don't actually make your own character if there's voice acting, so they don't have to avoid saying their name during voiced dialogue.

I swear I'm gonna name that idiotic P3 MC "Emo Git" next time, if I ever get to touch my hands on...P3.
