So, I installed the "Alduin's Kin" and the "Return of the World Eater" mods last night. Eeeh, they were alright. Definately fun, while they lasted. Alduin was easier, but that might be because the last time I fought him, I was level 27 and not dealing stupid damage with 32% increase in damage with a weapon that does 157 damage with 25 Life Absorb. XP
People can probably do more damage than me.

^ Numbers are only really limited by the code system. You can push them to the actual, semi-mechanical engine cap. Then it stops because the number ticks over to zero. Or in some cases negatives, but I don't remember the context. Of course, actual damage output has to be derived from more basic numbers, and don't necessarily match the basic numbers.
Point is, Alduin has less than 4000 HP. In praxis equivalent to 1 HP.
You can make human NPCs tougher than that, because dragons won't equip anything.
(And ImportShep is adjustable.)

Mostly the only thing holding me back from buying ME3 is Origin.
Wondering about people's opinion of it.

I use Origin solely for playing Battlefield 3.
It's actually not that bad. That is to say, .
After playing the ME3 demo, I can say with certainty that has been stripped of it's RPG elements even more than ME2. Having it asking you when you start the game if you just want to auto-skip the parts of the game where you actually have to think about things (fuck making a character, just give me a preset. the conversations? just play a cutscene instead).
hurrhurr, the "story" choice actually allows you to customize your character and have interactive discussions, but makes the combat easier. plus, it's the only choice where combat difficulty is not adjustable.
Have fun playing Gears of Mass Effect.
