I believed in cooties for ONE day. A girl in school told me about them and them showed me how to ward them off ("circle circle dot dot now I got my cootie shot" <-- I'll never forget it..... <_<) and at first I didn't believe her but the others in the class started doing it very religiously saying there was a cootie outbreak in the school. I thought "everyone else believes it so maybe they are real". By morning of the next day though my common sense sorta kicked in and I started to ask basic questions "so, what are the symptoms that you have cooties" and things like that. When I got round-about answers my belief sorta fell at that point. By the time I asked a teacher later on that evening I sorta knew what her answer was going to be "There's no such thing. Your friends are just playing a game."

Copy/pasta from another forum:
I'm playing Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and My Japanese Coach at the moment.
Phantom Hourglass isn't as great all the reviews said it was. The story is stupid. Tetra is supposedly a great pirate, but before the game even starts she gets lost and only Link can save her. Sheesh, hasn't the damsel-in-distress cliché been beaten to death by now? Link looks kinda dopey, and needs to get every minor detail explained to him. Linebeck is just annoying. Lots of things happen the way they do only to throw another obstacle before the player, not because they make sense at all. I mean, an hourglass that protects against poison gas that magically doesn't affect you if you stand in a puddle? Barbed wire hurdles that rise out of the sea in front of your ship? A storm that appears when you try to sail north so you need to get a cannon to break through a wall in the sea? And the maker of that cannon has locked his door so you need to walk around the whole island to reach his back door, which is open? They should've hired a real writer and editor and fire whoever thought this was a good story.
My Japanese Coach is interesting. It's kinda limited in the ways it lets you practice words (either all the past lessons mixed together, or the new lesson, or both at the same time, but not one particular past lesson), uses incongruent translations (I=boku or atashi or watashi, but we=only watashitachi; good morning=ohayou gozaimasu, but thank you=arigatou), and is too lenient when it comes to writing kana (stroke order is ignored, and any scribble that more or less resembles the character is accepted). But it's nice to have something different now and then. I'm using Kodansha International's Let's Learn Hiragana / Katakana / Kanji series of books for more serious learning of writing.

私達、僕らetc. are generally accepted for "we"
This is why using game like My Japanese Coach isn't the best idea for practicing or learning Japanese, better to be taught by native or something. Or if you want to learn kanji keep exposing yourself to it.

Trance - I'm aware of My Japanese Coach's shortcomings, so I only use it as something extra and don't rely on it to teach me seriously. I don't have a person teaching me though, just text/workbooks. That's okay though. I don't really intend to speak Japanese, just read/write/listen.
Could you spell out those words in hiragana? I can't read kanji yet.
