Prolly a little unimaginative, but oh well.

I didn't get far. Like past the first two locked doors. No monsters yet, but I LOVE the atmosphere. I think if a monster had jumped out at me at any particular moment I woulda jumped three feet out of my skin. XD ( ... I'm naturally a jumpy person anyways though *sigh* )

I appreciate a company that realizes the idea of no music = best music

It's not really a spoiler, per se. You're technically already beyond it. It's about the very first secret room in the game Sounds like you're already actually beyond where it's at so if you're curious:

Just a note if anyone else is as anal about EXP distribution as I am: You get half EXP for not participating in a fight. Missing doesn't count as participating. Shuffle characters around so they swing (and hit) every fight!

Thankfully, throwing weapons auto re-pickup so Rogues aren't a clusterfuck early on. You can also get a Spear pretty early too and that helps a lot for the back-row.

Might just be easier to not care, though.

And, going by Shadowrun, they actually need someone with experience in the OS to do it, or if it's easy. They mentioned having a Mac expert, making that port, but not Linux; they have to outsource for it.

Yeah, it takes some coding work to get cross-platform compatibility, especially if it isn't built from the ground up on an engine that works on those platforms (and/or is easy to port anyway). A friend of mine has spent the last like 8 years doing coding for Wine in his free time to get games up and running. It's not exactly the easiest thing in the world to do with that and it gets to cheat.

Edit: Actually, it seems to work under Wine already anyway and you can get a DRM free installer via GOG. And seems a hack has been put together for a Mac install.
