??? I never had a problem with the fairies. You guys are using the mask right?
^_^ It's one of my favorite Zelda games.
Haha, I loved that there are so few bosses, but the bosses in the game can be real assholes - that you have the honor of usually needing to re-fight.
Still, for Gyorg, I always found it easier to shoot arrows into him rather than the boomerang fins. It's been a while since I played the game, though. Also: be sure you know how to control Zora-Link easily enough. Also: make sure to have the infinite magic bar... I can't remember off hand what move used this in particular, but I remember always making sure to collect it before I attempted that temple. ... but that might have just been me...

I can't remember... *sigh*

Hehe, Emrin, I dunno if I was any help at all.
Though I think what you did is probably the best thing of all. One of the key tips I pass along to anyone trying to play through Majora's Mask is that it is not a typical Zelda game that follows the DUNGEON > side quest to open dungeon > DUNGEON cycle. Majora's Mask is not centered around dungeons but centered around the side quests. You play through the dungeons to open up more side quests if that makes any sense.
So if something is not clicking inside of a dungeon, DO take the time to go out and explore the world. See what affect the newest items and masks you obtain have on the world.
Also, yeah, the game pulls a LOT of bullshit, cheap ass moves on the player. I know EXACTLY what fairy you are talking about in that snow temple. Also... what you have to go through to get the better sword... and the joke of the MEGA SWORD.... and then of course trying to figure out the timelines and event sequences of certain blue haired individuals.... :[
*nods* I can agree. .... :3 And yet for all its cheap and petty bullshit that it pulls to make one rage quit, my GOD I love this game. I think perhaps it's the fact that it is INCREDIBLY unique and has some of the best puzzles in the whole franchise. Seriously, I wish Skyward Sword had taken some lessons from it.
As for the fairies....

I enjoyed trying to get them. It broke the monotony to the dungeons. Instead of trying to figure out how to open door X I found myself going to great lengths to obtain a fairy and after receiving it remembering that I AM in a dungeon, time is ticking away, and door X remains still shut and locked. ....

I loved watching my sister play Majora's Mask after OOT. I told her, it was not as easy as Majora's Mask. xD She restarted thinking, she did something wrong when Link got turned into a Deku.

From that Kickstarter thing about Class of Heroes 2, might as well replay it.
Boss Fights that either
A) You one-shot them
or
B) You get half your party dead before you do anything
With how annoying some of the maps are, I remember why I kinda despise it at times.

Class of Heroes is what you get when you take Wizardry's gameplay and make it into a game that only masochists can appreciate.
I'm hoping the second one won't be anywhere near as bad but I have my doubts.

What do you mean? The first Class Of Heroes was awesome. And the second only improves on that.

Need to rebeat Grimrock in Old School mode then I'll be done with the game for now

A shame that the only way to use a smaller party is to take a full one and kill of the extras

Edit: Incidentally, I wonder if I was the first to find all the secrets. Steam's global stats indicate it still at 0% after I got mine done.
@Class of Heroes: There's a lot of clunk and archaic, even by Wizardry standards, design. It's not terrible but I just didn't find it amazing.

Now I'm scared. Zangurak has Perfect Guard against banana-peels. No human has Perfect Guard against banana-peels.

The characters of Class Of Heroes are so much cuter than silly old Wizardry or Legend Of Grimrock or what have you. There are ten different races to choose from; the school setting is a lot friendlier than other games of the genre; and where else can your characters become puppeteers, idols, gunners or fallen angels? (and that's just CoH2; CoH3 adds pattisier, butler, tsundere, little sister, hero, pirate, miko, etc.)

So now I'm shooting banana-peels at a rescued prisoner.
Sorry, have to check if you're human.
Oh my, he's bleeding badly.
Edit: "Some of 'em were wearing dandy clobber like you lot"? I'm sorry I ever doubted you, Prisoner of War.
Edit: This boat has live plants and a cat. Rolling in style.
Edit: Two cats?
If anyone ruins this boat for me, I'm burning their empire down. I have a spell for fanning flames.
