So I realized last night after downloading the newest patch for Legend of Grimrock that there is a feature that turns on screen arrows to hit. ... Which might seem like a silly thing until you realize that most of the time I use my laptop's mouse pad - which can make playing games very difficult.

:3 After playing around last night I actually found that with this set up, I'm even able to successfully perform a hit and run while attacking monsters.

I've still not spent a great deal of time in the game but I plan to play through some of it tonight... after I study for my presentation. :3 And when I can get some peace and quiet to fully enjoy the awesome creepy atmosphere.

Something that kind of annoyed me in the Grimrock last night and actually made me kinda rage-quit in its own strange way...



I dunno... It kinda miffed me off. Even though I got past it, it's the what-if that has me miffed because I think this situation could happen again but the next time I won't be so lucky and THEN what?

Nah, it was three monsters wailing on me.

It's like "what if my mage character had not been so useful (because I genuinely feel he tipped the scale)." What would I have done? I mean... maybe I missed an area that I could have continued in. I'll have to fire the game up again. It has the look of a trap and the message clearly indicates it's suppose to be hard, if not unwinnable... *sigh* :\
