I beat Ocarina of Time once in 5 hours. I could probably have restarted and done it even faster. I got reeeeeally good at that game.

Five hours seems to be the average speed run record, though I believe the official time record still stands at four hours and like 35-45 minutes (I can't remember for the life of me).

I never got good enough or interested enough in doing a speed run of the game. I could probably at one point done speed runs of Link to the Past but I haven't picked that game up in a while and I'm sure my memory of my beloved game is gone.

"Thanks, Ren" is now my new catchphrase for ever God Eater mission that forces him on my party. He is utterly useless, so usually that's accompanied with, "You were right there with a recovery bullet when I needed it. You were right on time with that Link-Aid."

If you haven't gotten it yet, I also really hate Ren as a character. He's an upstart brat who really feels like a mary-sue. Like, I understand your character is supposed to be kind of teaching him the ropes (along with the rest), but he's really just an annoying brat. And there's no real reason to take him along on any of the missions he's forced on.

=_= And on top of thise, I gotta fight a Susano... I hate Borg Calmans. I hate anything that looks like a Borg Calman. I have trouble with just a normal Borg Calman. How in God's name am I supposed to beat this cheap thing? D ;

Honestly, the game did the one thing I hate, which is artificial difficulty for the sake of story. There really feels no scaling in difficulty for what's being forced on you (which would be great, if the AI was not such crap.).


...that's my rant for the day. *grumbles*

Yeah Ren wasn't all that great on my game too and Cool someone else who shares my hate for Borg Camlann!...seriously screw those things :I. If they're in God Eater 2...i'll still enjoy the game but i'll be raging.
Also hated how the game makes u do (Sorta) impossible missions like fight 3 Vajra by yourself...which isn't bad but can be if they're all attack at once : P

The challenge missions, right? I'm not gonna bother with those. xD Once I finish this file, I'm probably making a new one.

My problem with Borg Calman is the absurd hitbox of its tailspin attack. It's akin the Plesioth's hipcheck. On top of that, it recovers from it so quickly that it keeps spamming it.

I mean, Borg Calman's a great concept. Just it's so cheap... =_=

Hannibal is fun and difficult at the same time. I just hate how I can't jump over his tailspin attack either. Like, you clearly are over it and you still get hit. Corrosive Hannibal just pisses me off.

All because of Ren.

If GE2 comes over here, I will be angry if they don't let you import the same character over(in my head, my character was 20... so seeing him at 23 would be awesome. xD). I will be annoyed if they restrict the following to Challenge missions, like Alisa, in that game:

Kanon
Gina
Anette

Only other characters I frequently used outside the regular party. xD I love Kanon and Anette.. she's a girl, so automatically the most interesting of the new-types introduced in the second story.

Well, I just finished the last Story Mission of God Eater... Honestly, even after they explain Ren's character... No. I can't buy it, when he is that much of a crappy fighter.

Also, the Ouroboros fight... Compared to Susano, it was not as annoying. Granted, Ren seemed to not understand that when you have the thing pausing, he can revive me. =_=

Lastly, is this a screw up in by the Translation team? "The wound isn't deep. Let me finish the job." THAT IS NOT WHAT A HEALER IS SUPPOSED TO SAY. XD

Yeah, Ganondorf+Ganon, that whole boss fight.

I also played softball for 11 years, so the tennis part was actually fun for me

Pfft, open world games.

Corrosive Hannibal raped me hard, the first time I fought him. xD That's why I know Ren says that. Most people say the skill Presence (I had the Tripwire Control Unit) helps during that fight, but it really just made things more difficult, because Ren never healed. xD
