Bullet's is a lot worse. Maybe that's the comparison they're going for.

Well, took me 5 years to finally do it again, but I finished both campaigns in Mechcommander.
And someone STILL died in the penultimate last battle.

*gets Mechwarrior 2 to run on his computer*
*Finds out all of the weapons on his favorite mech are making him self destruct*
My computer is apparently too fast to run the game.

Yeah, compatibility rarely works, thats why I asked. People think its a magic button, or something. As I suggested, you should probably try emulating it. If you're trying to play the Windows 95 version of MW2 you might try hunting down the DOS version, and emulating that, I've had success with that in the past (on different games). A virtual machine could also be an option.
Of course it always seems to come down to the specific game. Diablo 1, for example, works perfectly fine in compatibility mode, with your resolution reduced, whereas Daggerfall, which was released around the same time, almost invariably needs to be emulated to work on modern machines because of the same speed issue you're experiencing, though I think theres a modern installer now.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/216150/I laughed so hard at this. Then I started wondering where if they would put in Maplestory TF2 promo hats.

I just re-joined Maple with my buddy, every few days we've been hanging out and playing for a few hours. It's really different now but still fun if you have a real friend playing. Couldn't play for more than 10 minutes solo now though.

Well, started reading and watching a bit on P4A. Thinking I might pick it up sometime.

Maple Story is kinda like sand. It won't cause much lasting harm as you seldom consume it and only do so in small quantities.
