Devil Survivor was awesome. I haven't seriously sat down to play the second version which seems more story driven. I liked the first one because the endless leveling and non-story moments made it nice to play in front of a tv.

I liked DeSu 2 a lot
The whole system seemed to be more streamlined and the OST is soooo good
The characters are awesome as well
