........ I overleveled...... and the battle became too easy....

Especially when I discovered that if I had party members standing on the spawn points the monsters would not spawn. So, sacrificed two parties and just had my level 87 Neko and Level 74 Midori attack the boss.

Hardly even needed Midori. In fact, most of the time, her skills were sealed by the boss.

<_< *sigh* I knew I shouldn't have been so diligent in leveling. ^_^; It only shifted three times before I took it out.

:3 So, that's Yuzu and Atsuro's paths down. Which path should I take on next? What are my choices?

Amane, Gin, Kaido, and Naoya right?

... Might pick Gin... what are your guys' suggestions?

I want to like Devil Survivor, but I'm really bad at the battles. Seeing as that's most of the game, I've not made much progress.

The trick is, spend 99% of the game just leveling up. Take on the easy free battles until you are smearing them and then, take on the hard battles until you are smearing them. In between, purchase and fuse demons.

I think only like 2% of my playthroughs so far has been actual storyline progression.

And I've found I'm fine with this. Pop the tv on and just battle through the stages over and over again. Suspend often and when it looks like you are in danger of a game over - retreat. And then save and re-enter the battle.

The next tricks in terms of strategy - seriously: keep your party members constantly within arms reach. Granted some battles make that a little bit more difficult than others. Still, if you are having trouble with the storyline battles - then it's just because you haven't spent the time properly leveling up.

^_^;; Of course, don't be like me and OVER level and make the boss TOO easy... :3 *snicker*

Naoya's a good one (i like walking the Chaos route...LIKE A BOSS~) but Gin's pretty well so either one. Going Take down Sir Morning Star this time :3?
Also were you able to summon Metatron? i beat the game 4 times and i never knew how to make him even though it said i can

Playing Parasite Eve 1 and finally beat the Final Boss 8D...then got raped in the butt on the Escape Part :L...damn this game

Edit: Ok Now i know what i did wrong...i was suppose to hang around a certain point in order to blow up the ship, that's why i can't beat the part. My fault but to be fair, the music during the part makes things too tense >.>

You will be able to fuse Metatron (best demon/seraph, so you get it) once you finish Amane's route.

I feel like I want to replay some old favorites, like Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Legend Of Mana, Children Of Mana, Heretic/Hexen/Hexen II, Suikoden Tierkreis, Summon Night:SwordCraft Story and 2, Phantasy Star Portable 2. I don't have a large number of unplayed games lying around at the moment, so I could take some time off..

I also heard something about how base level also factors into damage, so there's another reason to constantly change demons.

Which brings me to my problem of finding worthy demons sometimes, in comparison to what I had before. Didn't seem to have this problem much in Persona. It's probably because instead of finding a small cache of demons, I need to find 8 or more.
At least without AoAs I've found out how powerful physical can be.
