^ Eiji Aonuma's foresight =/= Shigeru Miyamoto throwing darts at a wall to decide on a wacky new element to ruin a loved series . In my opinion, even though Link to the Past and Link's Awakening were amazing games, handing the series over to Aonuma was one of the best things Miyamoto has ever done.

Zelda was most kewl in PH when she was Tetra. She was semi-kewl in Twilight Princess, but they still made her simply sit on the sidelines and be all "woe is me!"

Still... Zelda with sword = FUCKING AWESOME, WANT MORE!!
I'm in total agreement.
Right along with Seniwac's comment... Miyamoto would figure out some way to goof it up.

It seems these days, Miyamoto is usually at his best when he's on a new foundation or working with an existing foundation, instead of destroying a foundation, rebuilding it and then adding an extra door which no one will ever use. While I haven't played Super Mario Galaxy myself, most fans love it for bringing back the simplicity that was loved about Super Mario 64, in addition to adding new game mechanics that don't obscure what makes the particular series fun. Now, look at something like Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Too many people weren't fond of the doubles mechanic, especially when they add vehicles which are vastly superior to others. Back in the days of Mario Kart 64, people could just pick a racer, pick a mode and have a blast. No gimmicks, a better balance of luck and skill (recent Mario Kart games = a slot machine of failure) and simple pick-up & play entertainment. If you look at something like WiiFit or the first Legend of Zelda, Miyamoto reflected upon his life and what he could reflect in a gameplay environment, in addition to being able to say "You know, this would be fun" instead of trying to throw in a bad ingredient into a good soup.

*is playing Luminous Arc 2 undubbed*
*is far, far, far, far happier*
Oh come on ... the voice of Shana (...srsly?), Kagami (Lucky Star), Hayate (Hayate no Gotoku), Excel (Excel Saga), Kira (Gundam SEED), Lacus (...also Gundam SEED), and Lelouch (...) in the same game? Hell, all but one are usable?
Meanwhile, the English voice cast sounds like a ragtag group they found on the streets? BAAAH.
...if only undubbing P4 was this easy T.T
...maybe I'll do the same to Rune Factory 2 when I get around to that (or if my little sister stops playing it all the time)...
I need to do more mining. -_-; No matter what game it is, I could never get into mining. In FoMT I always sped through winter because I HATED mining.
^_^; I've finally reached my first spring (why did that season take me so long? usually I'm through my first season within a few days). I've just got done with the Monster Training Festival which I didn't participate in because I have a full house and after working so hard on my animals (and dealing with fucking lagging) I was NOT going to let one of them go to restart the whole process just for some festival. It can wait for next year now that I'm aware of it.
But, I have Dorothy at 10 hearts and I have the "bridal item" received from Gordon. I can marry her at ANY time. But, I'm going to wait. Maybe next year. Plus I wanna try and get through the other girls' quests just so I'm not missing out on valuable items such as seeds and wood and because I feel closer to the people of the game this way and am enjoying that. GRRR, but that stupid Barrett better stay the hell away from her!
....

I'm making too much money. I'm in the 100k and have NOTHING to buy, particularly since all of the vegetables to grow this season all come back on their own.
<_< >_> and there's no feature to improve my weapons which I think opens up in 2nd Gen. So, I guess I'm just massing money for my child. :\
And I'm currently Lvl 8.
.... .... .... Maybe I should spend some money and plant something in Blessia, but I have crops growing in all the other dungeons plus 3 plots of five different seeds in my main field. .... .... I hope I don't lose my patience and decide to go ahead and marry.
