I've started playing the first Disgaea game recently. I didn't think I would like the idea of naming the majority of my forces, but it's growing on me and I'm really enjoying the game. Also, Item Worlds feel long as balls.
A lot of things have already been said about the Smash discussion, so I won't say any more on it.

Actually, yes I will. The only thing I want to add though, is that I felt Brawl has more usable characters. In Melee I felt like there were only three or four characters that were "good" while the others were garbage. Like how Kirby just wasn't all that great, and G&W was pretty crap as well. In Brawl, every character is perfectly able to hold his/her own against every other character. Some of them might not be great, but they're all "good." But this might all just be because I was a young'un and didn't give the other characters another shot.

Back to the SSBB discussion, I am hardly a pro but I'd still like to say Captain Falcon can hold his own in this game. He's not as good as he was, but his moves are still there, and even if it's harder to get a knockout with him now it can still be done. I almost always play with one other person, no items. I can't think of very many characters where you're at a completely unfair disadvantage. Jigglypuff is the only truly useless character that comes to mind. I mean, I don't like playing as Fox, Falco, Wolf, Ice Climbers, Olimar, or Game and Watch, but I know each of those characters can be used pretty well in a fight if I could learn their moves better. I'd be perfectly fine using any other character against anyone in the game. Even Sonic. He isn't as good at getting people out, but his side A can still do it fairly easily if people would stop spamming his spindash while ranting about how awful he is.

Maybe I'm just not good enough at SSB to see how unbalanced it is?

I always find the time to run away, do some backflips and generally be a jackass in the middle of a match.
