^ Surprise, the roster is now only Miis.

Re: Games you are playing
Been playing some more Ragnarok Odyssey, and have tried making a decent tank Cleric build. As a result, I've been working on a decent Cleric weapon with a focus on Defense/Max HP and sanctuary healing power:
* Wyadd War Mace+8 (ATK: 134):
- Devotion Lv.3 (Max HP+600, Defense+25)
- Improved Sanctuary (increases how frequently Sanctuary heals)
I've put it up on Near as well.

I don't know if anyone played Zone of the Enders, but it is pretty good. Although either my PS2 Slim is starting to die or my super scratchy edition of ZoE1 is the culprit, because cutscenes can lag a bit.
BAH.
BAH.

Perhaps one day Kojima will make a third one with more phallic cockpits

I'm only really hoping for Travis Touchdown. It's not as likely he'll be in it as it was in Brawl, but a man can dream. Plus Suda said he wanted him in.
Re: Games you are playing
I wouldn't mind Mii, it would be fun to mess around with I'm sure. Also I'd love if Neku from TWEWY was in it. They'd have to do something special (hopefully not gimmicky) to make him different than Ness, but that is my #1 pick for characters I want in that game. I'd also like a .Hack character, probably Kite or mr. broody lightning-bolt eyes. They'd be different enough from other swordsmen, and it's a possibility since Namco is part of it. Also, I'd like a custom Robo thing similar to the pokemon trainer, but that seems like way too much of a stretch.

Yep, with Optimus Prime and Bomberman ;D
Re: Games you are playing
Personally I hope (key word: hope) there are no more third-party characters, and they avoid future R.O.B.s (IE no Miis). I want better representation than they have had prior.
Examples:
Ness and Lucas are absolutely terrible at representing the Mother series. They only have two special moves that they actually used in their game, when there is really so much overlooked potential.
Ike's sword style is basically what Ganondorf should have been. Why isn't he using the sword? I cannot help but feel Masahiro Sakurai is an epic troll for deliberately showing Ganondorf with his sword twice, but not using it or any of his sorcery. Again, it does a great disservice to the Legend of Zelda.
Speaking of Ike, if you didn't know, Fire Emblem is a series with like ten? different weapon times, not to mention a plethora of interesting character, with unique fighting styles and abilities. Marth is good; the Falchion is symbolic of the series, he has appeared in more games than any character, and he is everybody's home boy. That said I cannot help but feel there is potential going to waste by bringing two swordsmen, even if their styles are different.
It would be foolish of me to discount the possibility that there will be Namco characters, whether I like it or not, but I assume it would be either someone very retro yet not overly serious in presentation like Valkyrie or someone who made a splash on Nintendo, like Lloyd Irving. Soul Calibur and Tekken characters are all possibilities (after Snake happened, anything is), but I would hope they try to go with something more meaningful for the system it is being played on.
On the subject of custom characters, my prediction is that the 3DS version will offer some kind of customization system, with a characater who inherits move from the rest of the cast, while the console version focuses on just continuing to deliver a strong multiplayer experience. In any event, both versions will be at e3 this year, so I suppose we will know then.

^ Yeah, at least get a spear or an axe in there.
I like the Rope Snake, though.

Re: Games you are playing
Eh, only lords I do recall using anything other than a sword for a weapon are Hector, Ephraim, and I guess Micaiah (+ Lyn and Eliwood s if you count post-promote). They could try and add MU/Chris (or anyone in Awakening really) who can reclass and use a ton of weapons. That feels so far-fetched and hopeful though.
I guess they just wanted to combine the PSI abilities up on the main characters (who are more supports in their games I think)

I mean, given how random characters with little significance show up in Smash Bros, I would not say it is necessarily going to be a lord. Anything is possible. The most likely outcome, I would say, is going to be Chrom. Roy and Ike were both the most recent main characters from the series when they appeared in Smash Bros, with Ike in particular being popular with fans.
Though it would be kind of interesting. I have not played through Fire Emblem: Awakening yet, but (spoilers ahead) All speculation. In any event, it would be the ultimate in redundancy to have two blue-haired lords wielding the Falchion as characters to choose from, but if they take the lazy route again it is unfortunately something we must consider. If I could have my pick of any character at all with no regard to popularity, I would like Ephraim or Nephenee. Then again I am a martial arts junkie and just love what polearms are capable of.
And as for the Mother thing, even then. Both characters used the same three moves... which is a bit shallow, and honestly, their fighting styles did not differ enough at all, in my opinion. I would like if they would just go with Ninten or just any single character and make them the best that they can. Give them special moves that they can apply frequently. Something like PK Thunder would have made more sense in place of PK Flash/Freeze, and maybe PSI Teleport or 4th-d Slip could take up the recovery spot. In any event, I would not be upset with just having Ness again, as he is fun to play with.
