Finished Ys 2 Chronicles.
Way better than 1, actually makes the first one look like total crap. And it wasn't as unfair as Ys 1.

Reinforcements that appear and act on the same turn is terrible game design.
More so when they are tier-2 flying units with silver weapons.
More so when they come with 8 Mov units geared with silver bows.
That is not legitimate difficulty. It is a memory game.

^^I always freaked when reinforcements appeared in PoR and RD for that exact reason. I don't think they ever acted on the same turn, though. I might be wrong, it's been a while.

Yeah, they didn't. I will say RD was still really dumb with the Disciples of Order appearing in random locations of the map like 10 turns after everything but the boss has died.
