Yo dawg, I mean, Zeta
I think I'm about to cry now. Since, don't ask how, I finished Ys 1 Chronicles on Nightmare.

Up to 80% World Completion in GW2, now. Got 2 of the borderlands done, but I need the far right one done and Eternal Battlegrounds done.
Stormmist Castle is going to be the major barrier, I think. Between my server not doing well and just the difficulty of us getting it, I may end up having 99% for awhile.

We punched a hole in its walls, but that only disturbed a hornet's nest and Darkhaven players wiped us out promptly.

Lucky me I'm on a really good server that's held it for stretches of time. I saw it open with a waypoint* and just jumped there to grab the skill point.
*Let me put it in perspective. Waypoints on WvW keeps are upgrades. This requires gold, supply and most of all, time. Supply can get disrupted, extending it. Waypoints are one of the last upgrades you'd get, after defenses and better walls. Stonemist Castle is the most sought-after keep in the game.
Also, guardian may be my next 80. Engineer just doesn't seem set in stone enough. Thief has to go Shortbow to be effective, apparently, and I like dagger/pistol. Ranger just lacks anything outside solo PvE. Warrior may be at some point, although that I might take to 30 and remake because it'll be my norn. Or not at all because Guardian can melee DPS anyway.
Or remake everyone into charr and asura.

...please don't remind me I'm the "good-for-nothing" class. XD It hurts that I realized how bad it was by level 71. XD Now, with how unfriendly the game is to alts, I don't have the time to level a new character other than my Thief, which is already at level 34. xD
Still saving up 20 gold to buy her the Tier 3 Norn Cultural armor for her shoulders. It looks so nice with my mix and match set.

I do hate how Rangers keep getting nerfed when we really don't need it. All we're good for is fighting in the Underwater Fractal and Honor of the Waves, which I hear is mostly underwater combat.
The quickness nerf also is killing me, because I use Quickening Zephyr + Weapon Swap Quickness a lot. XP

I was about to find a niche for thieves (mostly blinds, which denies damage and doesn't apply defiant), but apparently the guy that championed the build has declared it defunct.

My thief is just rolling D/D and SB for her build. In general, the game hates the medium armor classes. In general, Warrior, Guardian, and Mesmer have a disproportionate amount of love in patches.
What do rangers have though? We'll be the ones to kill the Deep Sea Dragon.

I think it's because those three have the best abilities you want in a limited package.
Really, without the reflects of Guardian or Mesmer, the speed boosts of both, everyone would just declare warriors as the end-all, be-all class to take in all dungeons or events.
WvW, oddly enough, seems to have a place for everyone EXCEPT warriors.
-Thieves are good at roaming and random assassination, including precious supples.
-Elementalists are good at mass AoE on enemy zergs.
-Mesmers have good poke with illusions, group invisibility, group quickness and portal bombing.
-Necromancers have group CC in fear, which does damage. Also poking with bleeds and epidemic. Epidemic is up faster than I think most, if not all condition clearing.
-Guardians seem to have great group synergy, as well as bumpers to prevent passage.
-Engineers not too sure of, although I think a grenadier has some of the longest range spammable AoE in the game.
-Not too sure on Rangers, although I know one that serves as the commander's main scout. He seems to do pretty well. Pets randomly coming at you is also disconcerting.
-I think the best thing I've heard of for a warrior having a trait that goes well with an arrow-cart. Yes, the big, though class known for swinging heavy weapons; their best ability is in the back on siege.
One issue I've had recently is people declaring that any stats outside Power/Precision/Crit Damage is useless. Which means if you don't know how to dodge or use mostly condition abilities, you're useless.
In other GW2 thoughts, I will state I fall under the opinion that the new female charr NPC's eyes look weird, and fail to give the idea of cuteness or something.
