I never played Metroid: Other M. Everything about it spelled disaster, and something i should avoid. I read more about it today and found this:

How does he even have his job. Then again, I suppose he gets along well with Shigeru Miyamoto. ¬ ¬ It is entirely possible the article is a fraud, but he has said legitimately stupid things often enough in the past, so it is certainly believable.

Everytime he speaks he just seems so grossly out of touch with gamers and the modern world in general. I would honestly be more comfortable if they handed off Metroid to someone young, new and fresh. It is honestly less risky.

Final Fantasy IV DS, not sure if I mentioned it before, but its my all-time favorite version of the game.

Also Shinobi III. Maybe its from playing the 3DS Shinobi too much, but I really miss being able to parry =(

That said, Sakamoto is still an out-of-touch sexist. I can't believe the guy that wrote Samus's lines in Metroid Fusion is the same guy who wrote her lines in Other M. They're like two different characters.
