So, Dark Souls reminded me why I hate wireless controllers. In the Tomb of Giants, in that last stretch before you fight Nito. I already had some bullshit with Leeroy barely getting me with WoG and skidding me off the ledge. But this...

My controller ran out of batteries in that little watery area with the Pinwheel-like guys and the little skeletons... =_= My parents wondered why I was yelling, it was because I hate the Catacombs and Tomb of Giants so much. I hate it when I'm forced to change my load-out so much just for one portion of the game. Replacing my talisman with my lantern and catalyst with the talisman really messed things up. xP

Stick with your Catalyst.

Just use Cast Light (You can buy it from Dusk) when you need to see in Tomb of the Giants. Alternatively, use the Sunlight Maggot from Lost Izalith.

I'm going to beat Earthbound this time, not get stuck under-leveled at Moonside.

Well, that saves me the trouble. XD I'm playing a generally nice person, in this playthrough. I only kill people if they cause trouble, endanger another, or go hollow. XD

People I killed:
Crestfallen Warrior-- Hollow
Petrus-- Abandoned Rhea. Nobody is allowed to abandon cute voices.
Lautrec-- All in the name of restoring Anastacia's cute voice. XD
Laurentius-- Hollow


Honestly, the Shrine's a lot more empty, now that Griggs, Logan, and Laurentius are gone.

^ Don't let Laurentius wander off like that, you found him in a barrel. Obviously he can't take care of himself.

I don't know who's worse between he and Griggs. XD Lautrec gets out without your help too.

EDIT: Back to hating the Crystal Caverns and Seath and the Purging Stone Drop Rate.

^_^ Thanks to a wonderful Steam Summer sale, I got the two Left 4 Dead games on my PC. Actually, I've only downloaded the first one so far, I'll download the second one tonight. Let me know if you guys ever want to have a game. My sister purchased them, too, so I'm hoping to have some fun games with her on here.

So far, the mouse controls are SO much nicer than the damn Xbox controller. Though, I'm still definitely getting use to which button does what. o_O; Nothing like having a Tank on you and trying to figure out how to throw a Molotov. T-T

Ha ha, I recommend taking some time to tweak your keybinds to your liking. Change something, try it out for 30 seconds or so to see if it feels natural, and if not change it again.

My only summer sale purchase so far was Ys 1+2. I heard a lot of good stuff from you folks about it, and I never got the chance to play it as a kid, so I am looking forward to checking it out. ^~^

My sister purchased both of the Ys games. I was going to see if they were any good over her shoulder. Unfortunately, the $8 for the L4D games was all I could afford. But it's not the first time I've seen those games on sale, so I'm sure they will come around again.

Haha, yeah, it kinda sucks. I changed the keyboard earlier, decided that I didn't like it, but now that I changed it back >_< my fingers keep hitting the same darn keys. *sigh*

Solo is fun, but not as fun as having teammates. I coulda used them a moment ago. Nothing like reaching the roof at the end of the first chapter, hearing a witch, but before I can start looking for it, I see "incoming attack" on my screen, then I see a Hunter at the same time, AND THEN I get spat on by a Boomer (no idea where he was). If that wasn't enough, as the Hunter pins me, the Witch screams... no one came to help me. I can only assume that they were too busy taking care of the witch... and the hoard....

T_T THAT WAS SO MEAN!!! >_< THAT WASN'T EVEN FAIR!!! ...... *rage quit*

Truth be told, I'm kinda glad not to be playing it with my sister. I'm kinda sucky at FPS since I don't play them often, and she's the one that usually aces everything in this game. This way I feel like I'm actually PRACTICING and building up some skill.

....... my sister said she'd buy them for me, too (along with Scribblenauts). <_< I turned her down.
