Today I made it the farthest I've ever been in Metal Gear Solid 3 (which, admittedly, still isn't all that far). On normal mode, even! I decided I should play my old PS2 copy to get better at it so as to justify getting that spiffy new PS3 Legacy collection. My lord, the controls in this game are awkward.

Trying to run away? How about you try to lean up against this tree and hide in front of it instead?

What's that? Need to see which way you're facing so you won't get trapped in an area while trying to flee? Nah, you don't need to move the camera around! Just keep going! You'll be fiiiiiiine.

Ran out of the silencer for your tranquilizer gun? Ha! You can just sneak around all eight hundred bajillion of these guards anyway, no sweat!

I swear to Bob I am going to become the stealthiest motherf*cker these dudes have ever failed to notice because of stealthiness if it's the last thing I do.

So, I just finished Dragon Age 2 on my City Elf Import/Warrior playthrough. Templar/Reaver really wrecks the shit out of everything, but I think I like rogue more. It was just a lot of fun. XD

I also like how in this playthrough I don't get to contradict Anders's Awakening epilogues. I figure that after Hawke kicked him from the team, he returned to the Wardens.


I sided with the mages, this playthrough. XD I still consider my Elf mage's canon the main one for me, especially for the drama it set up between my Warden and Hawke.

Playing SMTIV, it's weird how Navarre always gets a slow zoom on his portrait when he talks, I have not noticed this happening with anyone else.

I'd like to imagine that he is slowly inching toward me whenever he talks.

Yeah, I heard that the game doesn't factor str into melee skill damage, just normal attacks.

I'm using magic though because magic is cool. I really like the demon whisper mechanic, also.

STR: Melee, slightly phys-skills.
DEX/whatever you call it: Guns, much phys-skills.
MAG: Uh, magic.

Also, unique rewards for having 100 STR or MAG in a certain place.
