If any of you see me playing Civ V this week, please tell me to gtfo.
Re: Games you are playing
Jump through flaming hoops to redownload Dragon Nest on Steam to get free items for playing over Steam instead of not-Steam -> find out I have seven days to enjoy said free items.
Not like I am upset or think the game is bad because of a promotion. Just makes me feel more comfortable knowing I am not losing anything important by playing it on whatever platform I wish. In any event I either need to launch it from Steam and have to enter log-in credentials in the launcher the launcher launches or launch it from a web browser and enjoy the luxury of autocomplete.
Both methods are kind of lame and I liked when games launched with a double-click of an icon, though there is a lot worse out there like those launchers that want you to enter your e-mail and password each and every time but don't bother to remember either, so I won't complain.
Will decide which one bothers me less. Steam has to update whenever I start it for some reason so I guess the web browser method will suffice.
Edit - Unrelated, but I have an update on EarthBound.
The game and are up. Might seem kind of wonky, but it pans out well on the Wii U gamepad or a tablet. Aside from a reduction in flashing in a few of the battle effects, the game is unchanged.

^ Some kind of customised launcher? But maybe that defeats the purpose.

Re: Games you are playing
After sending a friend a copy of Bastion, I decided to replay it. I had totally forgotten how great this game was, especially the soundtrack.

Re: Games you are playing
I love it when a session of Pokémon feels like an actual good episode. XD So, here's what happened:
I arrive in Driftveil and head to the house the ex-Plasma members are staying. I do the little battle and then get offered a Zorua. I had a full party, so I leave and put my Lucario away. I come back and activate one of the memories I got for beating Black version--I almost think that everyon left and I missed my chance for a Zorua.
I come back, get my Zorua and give him an EXP share, before heading off to face Clay. After fighting my way through trainers, I get to Clay. I leave, heal my Pokémon and make sure to restrict myself to only the same number of Pokémon he has(for an extra challenge, really.). My team: Dewott, Heracross, Zorua.
Dewott wipes the floor with his team, until Exadrill survives a hit and Bulldozes Dewott, knocking her out. I send in Heracross and Brick Break it, after he used a Hyper Potion, bringing it down to the last quarter of health, before Heracross was then knocked out. Zorua comes out, uses Foul Play and wins. XD Then he evolves.
...N won my fifth badge. XD
My battle with Colress in the PWT also was almost one of those moments of, "The protagonist lost!" sort of things. My team was the same there and I did not expect him to use Steel. xD

Reinstalling Starcraft 2 for some reason. Might come from watching a couple streams or Husky again. Also may come from saving a couple 3DS games for a trip next week.

Re: Games you are playing
Well I went finished Bitterblack on Hard difficulty.
Daimon could kill me in two hits (Well his illusion hand sweep attack thing... that was the only attack I got hit by) but he was still pretty easy. Didn't use any healing items whatsoever.
Man, not even Bitterblack on Hard can stop my Arisen. Maybe its time to create a new one instead. Maybe I'll go back to being a Magick Archer, since DA seemed have given them loads and loads of buffs.

The Color Dungeon almost ruined Link's Awakening for me.
I played the original as a kid and not the DX version, so I had never experienced the added dungeon. It is absurdly easy and it gave me a tunic that essentially grants 24/7 Piece of Power.
I will still finish it, though it is not as fun.

^ The boomerang does even more than the red tunic to make the game easy.
