Considering Atlus's general art style, I don't think that being on a graphically inferior console would be much of an issue.

A possible backlash would be more about how Atlus would not be making games on Sony platforms anymore.
Another would be if SMT and spinoff games were toned down. SMT kind of lives off its real and dark mythology undertones, as well as weird representations like Mara. Up to and including fighting disputed mythology. You know,

^ But Sirth, that's just JRPG. :3

Well, I guess if Nintendo does end up buying Atlus, that means I'll finally be able to justify buying a Wii U.
Although, with SMT x Fire Emblem and Pikmin 3, it's already just a matter of time.

Yeah, I might be more willing to pick up a Wii U now. Doesn't sound like a bad purchase at this point.

'~' Earthbound was enough of a reason for me, though I was waiting for a new bundle to come out that appeals to me.
Also, I agree with Garrett. With Nintendo publishing Bayonetta 2 and some of the new character designs they have pushed out for various games, I don't think Nintendo of Japan is worried about having an entirely family-friendly product line anymore.

^ It's a matter of money and shelfspace. I'll end up with a WiiU sooner or later.

The wii u is a pretty small console, it's only slightly larger than the wii.

^ I could add more shelves. Still pretty cluttered.

Shadowrun Returns releases tomorrow on Steam. Really never had much experience with the world, but I've wanted to. Mostly random runs with siblings, with one successful run with people online.

I'm much more interested in Shadowrun since I read Neuromancer.

Replaying Icewind Dale II, my party at the moment is a Human Pal1/Sor7, Aasimar Fig4/Pal3, Shield Dwarf Bar4/Fig4, Shield Dwarf Cleric8, Human Druid8 and Drow Rog1/Wiz5. Just about to enter the Ice Palace in Chapter 2. I'm not looking forward to it, since its the No1 place that showcases the marvelous pathfinder T_T
Also the Battle Squares. ... I'm going to enjoy getting the Bracers of of Icelandic Pearl ;_;
Also playing Torchlight II with my sis on Veteran difficulty. I'm running a Storm based Embermage while she's running an Outlander that creates a lot of bats.

<_< Playing Zelda: Oracle of Seasons.
Was trying to go for a perfect no deaths run with Dimitri as my pet.
I forgot how to get Dimitri and got stuck with Ricky. And then somehow I realized along the way that I picked up a death o_O when did THAT happen?! I know there have been several deaths, but I thought I was so careful to not accidentally save.
x_x; *sigh* ... Well, at least I guess I don't have to give a damn anymore whenever I die. Unlike Link's Awakening, I don't think you really get anything (like a special ending) for having no-death run. ... I'll have to look it up. Better to find out now when I'm only three dungeons in than when I've progressed too far to want to re-bother.
