Replaying Ocarina of Time on Wii VC.
Saw a G4 program about a week ago or so talking about greatest games of all time. o_O Saw clips of the game that I couldn't recall and it made me realize how long it's been since I have played this one. .... It HAS been a long time. To think I had this game memorized and played it religiously.
... The Wind Waker is still better.

Ocarina of Time just holds a lot of memories being my first Zelda game. XD Majora's Mask is my favorite solely because of the charm the characters have.

Well... it's more beautiful than Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Even Skyward Sword.
I just hate the colors. Everything feels so ... washed out. Too much brown, gold, and white. And there's this odd blurring effect going on. And then while the characters look amazing, things like the covered wagon and a few other scenic elements just look like handdrawn shit. Hell, when the covered wagon is pulling back into the town at the end, it doesn't even move! It's funny... I feel they put more effort into making Link's hair look good and flowy than they did in the environment (or that wagon). He should so totally be in a shampoo commercial XD
Skyward Sword went backwards... Link's hair no longer even flows! .... HE'S FLYING AND NOW YOU GO WITH THE STIFF HAIR EFFECT? His hair flowed more in Wind Waker! ... No lie, though, the art style in SS IS super cute.
Also: for the love of all that's holy, will there ever be a 3D Zelda game made where Link's long hat DOES NOT meld into his shield and defy physics. I can SORTA understand his sword pointing into a wall, maybe the tip of his foot, but when you are seeing 99.9% of the game behind Link, you would think that they would take the time to make sure that Link's ICONIC hat behaves correctly.

It's not that I don't like other styles. Twilight Princess' art has a great use of light and dark that I really like, for instance.
I'm just really sick of all the people around me saying that Wind Waker was a bad game made only for small children just because the art style isn't dark or realistic.

I really liked Wind Waker's art style because I'm a sucker for highly stylized art.
