Azumanga Daioh was another VERY good dub. ^_^

I like dubs because most of the people that I try to get into the material has never even so much as watched a foreign film. I get the o_o expressions and the oh-so-fucking-american response "uhh... i gotta read...."

*sigh* So, in a social setting, I'll prefer to watch dubs. I ALSO prefer it when I have my video going in a little box at the corner of my screen while I'm typing away on my story or website. I'm good at multi-tasking but trying to read anime while working on another project is not good. Give me the english so I can at least understand what's going on and don't have to constantly look over for every single word.

I agree that the sub vs dub argument is fairly pointless, but I do like discussions on "which is better for this particular anime." And I really DO like it when someone tells me "it fucking sucks" so I can avoid potential ear bleeds. *shudders* Evangelion's dub... I will forever be scarred for life.... *eye twitch*

I think the writing for the Azumanga dub was very good. The voices, however...were lame. Osaka's English voice killed a lot of her charm.

I think it hit her charm exactly. <_< And Osaka is my fave character. *sigh*

Man, Osaka's japanese voice was half of what made her cute. Her english voice wasn't small or troubled enough >_> also osaka accents are typically better represented as a New England sort of dialect
