No I didn't use any Demon Periapts, couldn't be bothered buying more of them since I wasted most of them on the Dark Bishop. I did use Magick Rebalancer, though when my Pawn went down, it was hard to find time to cast it again.


At any rate, I'm playing Dragon's Crown now. Playing as an Elf since other than the Wizard, she's probably the normal looking character... or the only normal looking female character other than the Princess for that matter. Also, I have a thing for Archery based characters in RPGs.

Best part of the game so far was definitely Lost Woods Route B. Looks like the hermit's design was intentional >_>

Don't know. Going magic, maybe sorceress might be better. Better support, and you still have what a wizard has. Sorceress gets food, protect and blizzard; wizard has party friendly minions and slow, with some more situational spells. He apparently gets better charge, but people prefer ice for sorceress, saving mp.

Hermit's design was totally intentional.

OMG this game is SO RIDICULOUSLY FUN!!!

Also, I wanna shake the hands of whoever designed these monsters. was more than impressive. <333

The game's difficulty is wonderful. It's hard without being TOO hard. was a bitch to me. Went out and did some quests and fused out some demons, gained a level, and went in and tried again. The RNG system got me the first time (I was so unlucky x_x) but went another round and had FAR better luck - none of my guys died that time.

The only majorly frustrating aspect so far: Macca. x_x I'm constantly SO BROKE. I dunno how many times I've restarted the game just because some demon ran off with my money while I was trying to recruit it. T-T They are so mean!! All I wanna do is love them!!

^_^ Also, the fusion and recruitment aspects of this game remind me so much of Revelations: Demon Slayer. I played the fuck out of that game when I was young. There are still times I wish I could fire it up. Hopefully this will be the substitute for that game. I'm definitely getting the exact same thrills.

Also so far it is the only game that I actually WANT to play in 3D. I feel the 3D actually adds quite a lot to the game and it doesn't feel like it's just a gimmick but an immersion tool. I'm quite impressed.
