Well for some reason I said screw it, getting somewhat back into fighting games, and pre-ordered Skullgirls.

After a few years, I have finally screwed up the plans of the Messian and Gaian freaks in Shin Megami Tensei II.

Awakening's presentation. @~@ No matter how much I play it, it is always nice on the eyes and ears.

EOIV had good presentation as well, but nothing like the battle transitions from Awakening. Other than that, while I have only played seven? retail 3DS games, I still want to see more titles make the most of what the hardware has. Aside from making the screen wider, it scarcely feels 3d.

I was reading some comments, and apparently Skullgirls has one of the best tutorials in any fighting game. Mostly instead of teaching how the game works, it teaches all the techniques and strategies for all fighting games. Mix-ups, cross-ups, etc. So at least it teaches more than how to do the command moves. And I'm not sure it has any kind of special mechanics, so it might be simpler to get into than most modern fighting games.

Got back into Icewind Dale II again, the Battle Squares did kill a large amount of my motivation, but I'm back into it again. Of course, even with cool stuff like the Brilliant Short Sword +5, I'm finding my spellcasters contribute far more than my melee attackers... well I do have spells like Static Charge, Fireball and Cone of Cold so I suppose its to be expected. Should've made my tank something will spell resistance like a Deep Gnome =|

Also those Bracers of Icelandic Pearl already became useless when I got to the shops in that Nomad Town... so much for them!


Also beat the Ancient Dragon in Dragon's Crown so my Elf is now on Hard difficulty. Probably going to put down the game for a while since, its actually gotten boring already. The game is definitely made to be a multiplayer romp.

It took some time to level up and build a better party but I managed to defeat Matador in SMT 3
