Re: Games you are playing
double post because VIDYA GAEMS
I've been giving The Wonderful 101 the attention it deserves this past week. I love the gameplay, but there are a lot of little things that add up to frustrate me. The camera in some situations keeps irking me, especially when there's an enemy just off screen that was charging up I couldn't see or something. The worse example was the scene where you're in a falling plan that's spinning like a tube and you have to run out while the tiles fall in front of you. Because the camera was at an odd angle, I kept thinking I could climb up a tile that was still considered a "wall" and it kept messing me up. I also kept missing jumps for the same reason. But aside from that I love the combat and dialogue, as well as how the game doesn't take itself seriously at all.
I also picked up Bamham City Armored Edition on a whim today. I didn't think it through and panicked when I got home realizing that there might be DLC or that Catwoman business that I didn't check on. Thankfully a quick web search told me that it's all included in the base game. I'll probably play it when TW101 wears me down and switch between the two.

Gaming for me, lately, seems to consist of Disgaea D2, Etrian Odyssey Untold, and something I'm not at liberty to discuss. (^_-)

I picked up Midnight Mysteries from Steam since it looked like a point and click adventure game. I expected a mystery story with some puzzles, but instead I got I Spy: Spooky Edition. I guess I can't complain since it was cheap, but I really should have payed more attention to the product.

I'm still playing Spelunky (Vita). It used to be super hard, but I've gotten surprisingly good (to me) at it over a few weeks. I've already defeated Olmec four times. I don't think getting to the city of gold area is doable for me, but I'm still having fun in the temple for now.
