double post because VIDYA GAEMS
I've been giving The Wonderful 101 the attention it deserves this past week. I love the gameplay, but there are a lot of little things that add up to frustrate me. The camera in some situations keeps irking me, especially when there's an enemy just off screen that was charging up I couldn't see or something. The worse example was the scene where you're in a falling plan that's spinning like a tube and you have to run out while the tiles fall in front of you. Because the camera was at an odd angle, I kept thinking I could climb up a tile that was still considered a "wall" and it kept messing me up. I also kept missing jumps for the same reason. But aside from that I love the combat and dialogue, as well as how the game doesn't take itself seriously at all.
I also picked up Bamham City Armored Edition on a whim today. I didn't think it through and panicked when I got home realizing that there might be DLC or that Catwoman business that I didn't check on. Thankfully a quick web search told me that it's all included in the base game. I'll probably play it when TW101 wears me down and switch between the two.
