ICYMI, lv70 is the cap, which can only be raised by fighting impossibly hard dragons. I prefer more peaceful methods of suicide.

The dragons aren't THAT impossible as long as you can figure out what their attack patterns are, then use your moves accordingly. The main reason I found the Blizzard King so hard is because I kept forgetting that every four or five turns he sets up an impossible-to-survive counter attack, and just went gung-ho and just got myself killed.

Oh, and bring lots of items. That's the key to success anywhere, though.

There's a definite pattern to their attacks and with Raquna's element block skills you can make them impotent

Since I'm several eps. into the fourth season of Sailor Moon (SuperS), I decided now would be a good time to play the Sailor Moon: Another Story RPG for SNES, which references the first 3 seasons. It took some wrestling to get it working. ZSNES just plain doesn't work right on my laptop even though it's fine on my desktop. MESS does work, but isn't very user-friendly.

I've never had a problem with ZNES... That's too bad, I wish I could help but you probably know more about what to do than I do.

Neither have I, on my desktop. My laptop doesn't have Pulseaudio installed, but ALSA should work fine too. Ah well, I have MESS working now. I'm at Jupiter's part of chapter 2.

I've been playing Ninja Baseball Bat Man for the last two days, I really suck at Beat 'Em Up. Also, started playing a Pokémon Emerald hack called Flora Sky. In that I'm at the third gym, which is surprisingly just Wattson, while the two first gyms had original gym leaders.

So finally completed A Link Between Worlds.

Evaluation: Very good. There were a lot of things it did right and a few things it did wrong, but mostly good stuff. The dungeons were definitely the most unique. My biggest complaint: length.

Also (spoiler warning):

Difficulty: I felt it was better balanced. There were a few hairy moments. Now I'm facing Hero Mode and actually... somewhat concerned. ^_^ But looking forward to it all the same.

I did get stumped in the Ice Palace. It took me forever to realize that a certain torch was more accessible than I realized.

I got all the items and the upgrades and gear but didn't get all heart pieces. Not a big fan of the mini games. The Miawhatsits were fun to hunt down. Honestly, I spent more time in the overworld hunting for them than I did actually spending time through the dungeons. I accessed three of the dungeons just by hunting them - which is to say I reached the opened door and opened up the weathervane for future broom-access but continued on with my hunt.

Turns out I can get all those Final Fantasy remakes on my tablet. Was thinking about FF1 and 5, at the very least. Maybe 6 despite my GBA version.

Decisions, decisions...

From what I've heard, the DS and PSP versions are much better.

Bravely Default. Working on unlocking Merchant at the moment, just unlocked Thief.

Also going through EO:U's story mode now, right now I'm on the 3rd strata. Gunner and Highlander are ridiculous, no wonder they're "Story-only" classes.
