Expansion for Shadowrun is out, the one involving Berlin.
Mostly story so far, but what I'm getting, it's worth it. They really know how to grip you with a tale.

I decided to give The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot a try since it's F2P, despite seeing all the negative reviews, and like most people said in the reviews: It starts pretty fun and interesting, but as soon as you leave the first area it's pretty much just grinding and grinding... and grinding!
I'll probably keep playing it, because I still find it pretty funny, and I seriously want to upgrade my castle more, so in a sense it is in fact pretty addictive, but it does feel like a lot of wasted time.

Guys, I think I have a problem.. I've been playing Bravely Default for almost a month straight now. I've never experienced this before... 3 straight playthroughs of it and my enjoyment has yet to dwindle... is this normal!?!? HELP

It happens with good RPGs. I played most Final Fantasy games for about a month the first time. My first MMORPG lasted me half a year of playing daily. Okay, maybe MMOs don't count. But Phantasy Star Portable and ~Portable 2 lasted over 100 and over 200 hours respectively. And ~Zero I played three times in succession to get all the stories. Oh, and I'm playing through Mimana Iyar Chronicle six times right now for all the endings.
So, yeah, IMO it's perfectly normal to play an RPG for more than a month.

oh I'm no stranger to good RPGs lasting ages. TRUUUUST me.. i was raised on RPGs.. the odd thing about me is I've never stuck to a good game ever (my favorite game that i'm very knowledgable in ive only beaten 5 times)
its just..odd i'm enjoying it so much in succession... even the MMOs ive ever played havent ever consumed so much time
though the "is it normal!? help!" WAS sarcasm lol
If any of you guys have beaten Bravely Default, I'm doing a little challenge run and can give details if youre interested in trying yourself =P

Yeah, I just got back into Bravely Default. Not really caring much for the story, but gameplay isn't too bad. Then again, I always thought the classic FF job system was addictive.
Considering getting Diablo 3. I heard it's actually fun now. Was considering PoE, but I'm hearing despite the "it's the true sequel to Diablo 2," the free part causes a lot of issues. And it didn't really hook me, anyway.

I completed Bravely Default some weeks ago, the secret boss aside (damn you monster >w<) i've done everything in it and enjoyed every bit of the adventure, even if the way to the end is painfully long.
As for Diablo 3, the AH was a big mistake from the begining, it's not fit for Hhack'n'slash games, but this is only my opinion again.

Purchased Tales of the Abyss for 3ds. It's not that I'm not a big Tales fan I just rarely purchase them. I played Tales of Phantasia translated SNES rom back WAY before Symphonia put the games on the map (and to really place it - the novelty of the game was that there were VOICES and the characters shouted their moves... yeah, that's how old school I played it XD - to hear ). Only other one I have is Symphonia and I was enjoying the crap out of it with my sister (we were 2p-ing it) but then she overwrote our save file... when we were at the end... never went back. I probably should.
SO... so far it's "meh anime"ish to me, and it feels a whole lot like Symphonia so far but the characters are good so far. <3 it's mostly just nice to have a good jrpg for my 3ds that's not OMG-hard.

Try Bravely Default when you get the chance. It's been rough sometimes, but some thinking and observation hasn't led me astray. You can adjust difficulty, though most of the time you'd just be setting encounters to 0.

Eh, maybe forget Diablo 3. I just used a coupon off Siliconera to preorder Dark Souls 2.
