Finished Dark Souls.
So, on to New Game+. Or just abusing a Lightning Uchigatana+5, I don't know.

Re: Games you are playing
I bought Sonic The Lost Worlds the day that it came out, as I love Sonic and for some reason, always hope and wish that the next game will be that bit better than the last. I've tried so many times to enjoy the game, but I just can't. I'm playing it bit by bit at the moment and it's a struggle. I pretty much give up after each level as it's just so disengaging. The 2D elements are pretty good, but even then, they're a poor imitation of the Mega Drive or even GBA games and the 3D elements just aren't as fun as the irritatingly difficult to control SAB2.

Have you played Sonic Colors? I liked that one better than Lost World.

Right now, I'm putting some time into 7th Dragon, which seems to be basically Dragon Quest with Etrian Odyssey systems/mechanics to me. Pretty fun so far, even though I'm only at the second dungeon, haha.

Re: Games you are playing
He does, unless someone changed the wikipedia article about it.
I've started playing EO4 again, mainly because I remembered there was a casual mode. I just don't have the energy to grind otherwise, now it's going rather smooth.

Re: Games you are playing
Yesterday I beat the final form of the final boss of the post-post-game of Mystic Chronicles.
That game had a surprising amount of content. The English translation was pretty bad though. Not bad as in Americanized, but as in inconsistent, many typos, and even one instance of a translator's comment left in. Even someone completely unfamiliar with video games should be able to guess that "loon grave" is not the correct translation. The game mechanics have a few rough edges too. For example, applying status effects or (de)buffs before they've worn off does nothing, instead of extending their duration. The random number generator's distribution is flat as well, but that's annoyingly common in RPGs in general. Still, I liked the game a lot for its unusual version of a save-the-world plot, and as said, the surprising amount of content. Credits scroll after you beat the big bad. At that point you probably know that there's a bigger bad, and hence a post-game. But when you've beaten that final boss, it turns out that that was just the regular content, and the actual post-game starts there.
Anyway, with that out of the way, I've started the first one of the latest batch of new games, Hometown Story. I can't say much about it yet. The shopkeeping thing is new for me, not having (been able to) played Recettear, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. The camera is pretty bad. It jumps at fixed points to fixed angles. The controls are adjusted immediately too though, so you'd better let go at the same time, or you'll end up changing direction suddenly. The in-game clock also runs pretty fast. This is a good thing when you're in the shop, as it keeps customers moving through quickly. Not so much when you're outside though. It takes hours to walk from one side of the village to the opposite, which is kinda unrealistic, and wastes too much time.

^I didn't hear anything very good about Hometown Story when it came out, if I remember correctly, but hopefully you like it better than those people did!
That Mystic Chronicles game sounds kinda interesting too, maybe I should play it eventually.
Recently, I've been playing Bravely Default. It's pretty fun, even though I'm only ~3 hours in. I love all the choice you're given for the encounter rate, difficulty, and auto battling. I also recently started playing Okami for the first time because of Yuna. That's pretty fun too, though I'm just barely out of the tutorial levels.

Re: Games you are playing
Although I'm still playing Age of Empires II in HD and I royally suck at it, as I always have done, I've also just downloaded Golden Sun on the Virtual Console. I still have the original game, with my purple GBA or I could play it on the DS Phat, but I'm just loving the idea of playing it on the big screen.
Yes, it's fuzzy as hell, but listening to that awesome music come out of the bigger speakers is great
