Re: Games you are playing
So, thanks to a suggestion by garrett1502, I decided to try out Osu!. I had one go at each of the starting songs, except My Love, because that is miles away from my taste in music.
I couldn't be bothered to go unpack my mouse (I recently moved and most of my stuff is still packed away in boxes), so I was stuck using my laptop's trackpad, which turned out to be just as big of a handicap as I thought it would be. I typically had accuracies in the low 70%'s and my grades were abysmal, as you can see below.
Tutorial: C
Liquid (Paul Rosenthal Mix)
Easy: D
Normal: D
Lost
Normal: D
Tear Rain (this Beatmap was hardly synched to the song at all, but by this point I was used to the game enough that I managed to clear it timing mostly by sight.)
Normal: C
I am definitely very interested at trying this game properly at a later date. My only real complaint is with the spinners. Why the hell are they even a thing? What does spinning the mouse in a circle randomly have to do with rhythm? I also don't really get why every song has bits where everything just stops for a while, then those red arrows appear and you continue. It's not a big deal, I just find it odd.

Re: Games you are playing
I keep seeing this game pop up and I SUCK at rhythm games and I have no mouse for my laptop (I just use the tracker). I use to have one to play games like Portal but it's been lost for a while. Keep wondering if I would ever even have the patience for this sorta game.

Re: Games you are playing
The last couple of days I've been playing Final Fantasy XIV and I really like it (then again I say that in the beginning about every single MMO I play). Even let my sister play a character on mine to let her decided for herself wether or not she'll get, which I believe she will on a later point.
Today I got my first minions though, and boy, despite doing nothing besides being "flashy", they sure are cute.
And yes, I do know my outfit in these are outright horrendous, shhh~

The Monk armors looks pretty ugly yeah. They only get uglier from here though (Boarskin Subligar). One you reach endgame though you'll be able to make armors look like nearly whatever you want at least. Until then though... try not to gouge your eyes out.
Anyway 7th Dragon. Hardest part of the game is deciding what party I want to use. The game is fairly big, so I want to stick with a party I'm happy with. Though, I keep reaching King, feeling unsatisfied and then starting over and trying a new party. It also reminds me of my biggest pet peeve of the game: the Flowaro (Or Bloom at the translation patch calls them). Horrible little flowers that shave off your HP when you step on them. I really don't want to use a Knight but those flowers (And thoughts of the post-game dungeon) keep urging me to shoehorn them in any party combination I can think of.
I'll never beat the game at this rate =/

Re: Games you are playing
This post is something I've been meaning to do since I got back from my forum hiatus. I'm basically going to go over the consoles I got during that time, what games I have for them and just how I feel about the systems in general.
Note that in the game lists, any game prefaced with a * I haven't played yet.
PS3:
3DS:
Wii U:
I'm going to put this outside of the spoiler, since I know most people won't read them.
I wanted to make my NNID Apolloncrash, since I am using that name everywhere now, but it wouldn't let me. After some experimenting and reading around, I found out that the filter had "apollon" blacklisted for some reason. Anyone know why that would be?

For the 3DS, have you tried the homepass trick? It gets me up to 6 streetpasses twice a day.
If your wifi router or other access point can change its MAC address, you can use one of the methods . If it can't, get your router's MAC address on .

i think the reduction in sharpness is well worth how much easier it is to see everything on the screen. IMO in the broadest definition of "quality" it's actually an improvement

Dragon's Dogma: I spent a majority of my first playthrough (200+ hours?) with my pawn as .
Then he gave a string of lines that made me think he's more .
Really.

Re: Games you are playing
Been playing Dragon's Dogma as well. Currently working on getting a pair of Heaven's Keys for myself and my pawn (I don't recall if a forgery of them works) before delving into Bitterblack. Might clear out the first area of it once I reach level 70 but I should (Hopefully) get a set of Keys before then.

Forgery weapons? Interesting.
If you're on PSN, send a friend request to Sirth 2027 for a sorcerer/mage.

Re: Games you are playing
I've added you, my PSN is Wolkenritter3156 for the record. Also, 3 Ascalons and 1 Volant White. I really should've known better =/
The game really wants you to use the Ascalon. I did need the Volant White though (Going Magick Archer this run) so I'm not too upset.

Re: Games you are playing
Been playing Shadowrun Returns. Main gripe so far is how linear the game is, but other than that, it's pretty fun and I really like the battle system. (Also, Jake Armitage!)
