Last night, after playing the game for 3 months and 5 days, I finished Sorcery Saga

I beat the main game (credits scroll) in one month, then spent aaages completing the item book, then went through the post-game dungeon in two days. The final two trophies I got were the ones for dying 15 and 50 times

This game is easy enough once you get the hang of rogue-like playing (level up your gear instead of your character), so I thought I'd go for the platinum trophy. I kinda underestimated how long leveling up each weapon/shield four times would take (~40 floors Exp. per item, times 60 different swords and staffs (shields you can do concurrently)).

I'd still recommend Sorcery Saga, but personally I don't want to see it anymore for at least ten years x_x

So, that was it. Ended my subscription to FF14. At first while playing, I wasn't thinking it was too much of a waste of time. Now I want to delete every moment I played an MMO from my life. Worthless genre.

the soundtrack alone made it a worthy venture for me

Started playing Fire Emblem Awakening again, playing through on hard mode this time.

Any Ys Origin players here? After beating the game with on Nightmare, I started a new Nightmare game with Yunica - which is really tiresome due to her low speed/damage...

So SLOWLY trying to get back into MH3U. The big problem is the massive wall standing in the way of my progression;

and my weapon/armor are BARELY up to the task (High rank G.Jaggi armor w/Dios edge SnS)

granted i CAN win... but only if i capture... and capturing isnt ass effective for rare parts for the armor because more carves = more chances..... i curse you Jasper... I CURSE YOU!!! i just wanna upgrade my armor... -sadface-

@Fluffernuff Bt you technically have more chances to get a rare loot by capturing a monster (espacially the jasps) howerver and of course you don't carve, but you get 6/7 loots in the capture box, more with the right armor skill and you still have break parts and tail carve if you have cut it.

As for the Jinouga, i took him with Brach dual swords and brach armor and he didn't even bothered me, but if you want to take him on, i recommand you an armor with high defense and envetually evasion skills, that should help you a lot. Or, if you're the type to block more, a guard up skill. As for the weapon, brach weapon ou eventually ice weapons, they are his weaknesses. (my bad if i mistranslated one of the skills ^^")

Got Freedom Planet, it is a lot of fun.

The main issue i have with em' is his "super saiyan" mode. i get 1-shot (without food buff, of course)
i tend to favor the "dodge, 3hit, dodge, 3hit" strategy for SnS (frankly its the only weapon im even remotely proficient with) and rely on auto-block for times i cant react myself.

i dont generally have trouble AVOIDING damage so much but its WHEN i dont, 1/5th-1/3rd of my health just vanishes.

I'm aware of his ice weakness, however my Barioth sword (i forget the name... its the upgraded blue sharpness ~230 ice) kills slower than my Dios edge... im guessing because of lucky slime procs/pyro food buff.. iunno, but slime is just slightly more effective for me atm.

my main problem is the drop rate for jaspers... 2%... its quite the ordeal for them when it takes me anywhere from 10-30 minutes, run out of potions and on my last cart..... but such is the life of a hunter i guess

I see, for the Dios weapon, it's normal, the slime is too op, it's the quickest way to kill almost anything in the game, let alone to break parts of a monster quickly. You can also disable his super sayian mode by making the slime explodes a few times on him.
I just checked and it's up to 3% when you break his horns or when ou carve him so yeah, pretty hard to get.
As an alternate solution, you still could upgrade your armor to a superior narcaguga's one, this one is the most effective when it comes to boost evasion and has a better defense value i think. As for the jasp, and for any kind of rare loots, they tends to show up more often in epic hunt quest (the one when you can only carve mega potions) even if I'm not really sure about it (It worked well for me so far but I'm maybe just lucky)

Aw, nevermind then, try a better armor in your rank tough, it will make it easier for you if you could survive to two or three hits more.
