I've been playing Fantasy Life this week. It's my first new game since I got distracted from .hack//Quarantine back in October. Since then I'd only played sudoku.
Fantasy Life is really fun. I haven't gone to bed before 1:00 all week.. -_-

After reading Nich Maragos's about playing FL non-violently I decided to play my first Life like that. It's refreshing to play an RPG this way. You have to sneak past monsters a lot, and can't make some recipes (my first Life is Alchemist) because the ingredients can't be bought. It's disappointing that there are these arbitrary kill barriers in dungeons (path blocked by a rock until you kill enough monsters in the area). Playing non-violently already makes things harder, so why add those stupid things? I guess I can't keep up the non-violence forever if I want to see all of Reveria, but at least it's possible to reach Master rank and complete the main story (credits scroll), which is pretty cool.

Started Persona 3 Portable since yesterday, and trying to get used to the social features and pace. As being used to SMT main series it feels breezy to go with the flow, even if I enjoy having more freedom to explore the game.

Still playing Pillars of Eternity. Not feeling satisfied with my team, so I'm thinking of starting over. I'll probably go with a Wood Elf Cipher this time around for my main character. Ciphers are stupid good, especially with Blunderbusses.

... And if my avatar means anything, I love a good blunderbuss.

Finished Ori and the Blind Forest.

Worth the wait.

If you're looking for a fairly challenging platformer/metroidvania that's beautiful to look at and hear, I highly recommend.

Well, i've been starting up a file in Persona 4 again, hopefully i'll finish it this time. I don't have any idea how to manage things, but i'm confident that i can make it past the first (true) boss in my current state.

I'm still playing Fantasy Life. The main story is finished, but I've completed the requirements for the DLC which I bought.

Looking forward to more story after I'm done with this Mercenary Life. Greatswords suck. They're so slow that I get interrupted by counterattacks before I can complete the chained attacks most of the time. Hunters' bows are much better (or at least better for me). I've now reached Hero rank in Alchemist, Hunter, Cook, Miner and Blacksmith. With Mercenary that's half of the possible Lives.

This is a really nice game. Recommended for people who like Dragon Quest 9 or Rune Factory :)

Still messing around with party combos in Pillars of Eternity. I'll beat Act 2... eventually. Also playing on Hard instead of Normal. Its 100 times more engaging honestly. Once I stop fooling around with party combos and actually beat the game, I might give Path of the Damned a whirl.

Also yeah, I got Ori and the Blind Forest. The aesthetics alone make it worth playing, it looks and sounds fantastic.

The hardest part of FF3 is the most of the segment before getting the ship. Its just terrible. Game's great after that though.

The final part is also kinda iffy. Last savepoint is two dungeons away from the final boss IIRC.
Other than that it's a great game though.

so far in my newest file im still at the point i have to defeat djinn, but he's easy in my opinion. yeah, i agree about the ship part. I remember the farthest i ever got is that one boss fight you need dragoons to beat without problems

Downloaded "Boxboy!" last night and been playing that on and off. Currently at World 8 and am finding it very enjoyable. There is a level or two (so far) here and there that does have a trolling attempt at acquiring the crowns dispersed in them, but it was a fun endeavor figuring out the solution.
