Interesting... I've never played any castlevanias, but im aware of their influence...this is fun little knowledge to have. I really do wonder what's going on inside Konami... they seem to be eating themselves from the inside out lately... even more than usual...

In other news, I've been playing some PSO2 lately.... and to be blunt the community there is kind of rediculously bad. not TOXIC... but bad... like i would call the game and "AO" rated title from the community alone bad.... the game itself though ive had no major issues with... its phantasy star

I'm trying to wrap up The World Ends With You, I made from week 2 to the end of week 3 in a few hours with some slight struggle being very under level and such. Got stuck on the final boss so I'm back grinding to actually survive more than 5 minutes.

Great game but WOW it sure adds quite a few scratches to your touch screen... (although maybe I'm being a bit rough lol)

All jokes aside, I agree on Portrait of Ruin, to an extent. I had a lot of fun with that game playing the unlockable "Sisters Mode" with a friend. We would cuddle up together and one person would control movement while the other would swipe the stylus for attacks. Oddly enough in general I found the unlocked modes were more fun than playing as Charlotte or Jonathan.

And yeah, in terms of presentation, I agree entirely. I was devastated when Iga dropped Ayami Kojima as an artist in favour of someone with a more anime-esque style. He said it was to appeal to a younger audience but gosh.... I can't help but feel Castlevania will always be a series with rather mature themes. If you change the art but maintain the same general story and mode, it just begins to lack congruence. Just my opinion, anyway.

Vampires are only deserving of mature adult themes. It's why I can't stand Twilight but I can totally love Sookie Stackhouse (aka True Blood). But when I think of vampires, I'm thinking of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Too bad you're not on Hyperion. I could see if my group could help. Have you tried making your own groups, or did you and they ended up not joining?
Want to say just buckle down and farm poetics to run with full ironworks, but damn that's a lot of spell speed. Could mix in some key WoD pieces.

Playing around with the idea of getting Heroes of the Storm, because I know some people who will be playing it at least.

Comes with Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight. Should be fun times.

Also may pick up Smash Brothers since my sister keeps going on about getting Mortal Kombat X, and I'm not planning to pick that up.
