Oh damn. After finishing both stories, I find out that it has to be *on the same save* to unlock the second endings. Why didn't they say that at the beginning? *sigh* Guess I'll play Kisuke's route again because that's the easiest.

??? Did they change something for the vita version. That's weird. Why wouldn't you play on the same save file. Especially since the sword tree made it obvious that in order to get the later swords you need both characters. The main screen always asks what character you want to play as when you start it up.

Also playing Pokémon Shuffle on my way to work but it gets more and more frustrating because of the random catching rates.

Yes, the swords tree should've been a clue. I figured Momohime's swords would show up after finishing Kisuke's story. Oh well.

Makes me wonder how it's set up on the vita. Because in the Wii version you select the game file and then it asks which story mode you want to play as and gives stats on both characters. Makes it very clear that it's a joint-story game.

^_^ Did you get any of the spa-cameos? Those were always entertaining. Especially when playing Kisuke's story.

I visit an onsen after every boss battle, but there's rarely anyone there.

I think the Vita version is the same as how you describe the Wii version so far.

Always go to EVERY onsen even if it's not needed. I'm not sure how they are unlocked precisely. I think someone even mentioned something about needing to purchase the maps as well, but it's been a while that might be misguided info from a muddled head. ^_^ They are all super funny and cute.

I got the trophy for seeing all the onsen scenes, so I guess I did it right.

Finished Kisuke's story a second time, now on the right save. Got the two second endings (not sure if that's normal, but I got Momohime stunlocked for a super easy win). Although they didn't fit the rest of the story quite as well as the first ones, the second ones were longer, looked much better, and were more optimistic.

Now I'm working on the third endings, which require beating all the other story's caves of evil (and maybe bosses too? I think I need those for another trophy). Not particularly looking forward to fighting Momohime's bosses again >_<

I see everyone's playing EOU2. I thought I'd preordered it, but that was the Hatsune Miku 3DS game. I'm still not sure I really want it. Yeah, I know that's blasphemy, sort of. I guess I'll wait and read y'all's experiences with the game first.

Lol both the 2nd endings i always considered like "the alternate world ends". Fin but not necessarily canon. The third endings tho are worth the effort

EOU2 seems to be good. I think it's my favourite in the series, after IV anyway.

I didnt like thw classes or the skills. It felt too modern and despsrate to break out of the old school mode which is the reason i play the games. Plus i did not care for the story which was way too scifi and not enough fantasy. And i hated the labyrinth which felt uninspired and dull
