Games you are playing

So I want to start the Harvest Moon series: which games do you recommend? Or should I play Story of Seasons since it's the most recent game?

^ Unless you just like a particular town, or vegetable, or character, it's pretty safe to just go with the most recent one. In 2016, that means the most recent one that doesn't have the name "Harvest Moon". Story of Seasons doesn't seem to have any major problems.

I had seven sages place seven seals on Rune Factory 4, though, because it was ruining my life.

Rune Factory 4 OWNED me for almost a month D: . My husband didn't even play the game but he knew exactly what I was doing by the sounds. "You saving? Wanna come out and watch TV with me ;_;?"

Currently, though, me and my husband are playing Pokemon X and Y. I'm playing X for the first time, he's playing this whole gen the first time xD. We met over Pokemon 12 years ago when we were 10, so we figured we'd try to 'Catch em All!' together :3. As many as we can, anyways.

I should probably try out a Harvest Moon game other than Rune Factory sometime, if at least only for the marriage system because I'm lonely. ;-(

As for what I'm actually playing, I'm currently in my 'turned off' state for Blade and Soul until the Blade Master get buffed to a state that makes it actually able to stand up to other classes in any way. For a couple of days I was bored out of my skull with nothing to play, but a few days ago I happened to find myself in the exceedingly rare situation where I'm talking to somebody about video games IRL, and I had mentioned my disappointment with Undertale to them, stating that I liked what the demo gave more than what the rest of the game did, and wished the game followed the same lonely/creepy style, and he bade me try OFF, and hot diggity is it everything I ever wanted from Undertale.

It's still kinda an Earthbounder, but the story is so much more mysterious and open for interpretation unlike Undertale's explaining everything to you by the end of the game. The game doesn't chastise you for you decisions like Undertale likes to do. Most of the things I like about OFF compared to Undertale are slightly more personal but damn am I in love with this game, it just gets so beautifully under my skin. Too bad the fanbase isn't much better than the Undertale one, but unlike that game I find the game itself good enough that I can look past all the fans who obviously never once got the point of the game at all and just wanted to draw something that 'looked kinda kool!'. I'm not saying this to dog on Undertale, as much as I find it - in the long run - hard to completely enjoy, it's still not a bad game, it's a pretty deg good one. I'm just glad I found a game that kinda fixed a lot of things I thought weren't great about it, I guess?

I should probably stop playing all these good Indie RPGs though, they make me look at the writing I'm doing right now for long-term life goal game and kinda make me think "Dang, my writing isn't nearly as good as (insert thing here)...", but I guess that's just par for the course.

Hey, thanks We're at about 500 so far. Now we just need to evolve a few and wait for those Legendaries to be released throughout the year. I think it's either Celebi or Jirachi next, which'll be great.

My friend bought me Risk of Rain, and i also got myself Baldur's gate 2. i need to figure out how to play baldurs gate cause i have no idea what to do.

Been playing Final Fantasy Explorers off and on the past week; just unlocked 4-Star missions. So far my favorite class has been Machinist. Class transitioning has kind of looked like: Archer -> Thief -> Machinist -> Dark Knight -> Machinist <-> Blue Mage. The one problem I keep finding myself in is wanting to try the newer classes I keep unlocking, but not wanting to leave either Machinist or Blue Mage.

Also, I've managed to acquire Cactuar and Tonberry as my monster allies, but can't have them in the same party due to the massive load requirement of Tonberry (300).

I really want to unlock 5 stars on my game of Explorers, heard you get Class Mastery quests then after you've finished 10 quests with a class. Machinist is pretty cool though, I can agree with that! Personally I go with either Machinist, Dark Knight, Monk or Black Mage. I actually just pretty much unlocked the last two classes that aren't based on creating equipments, have yet to try them though.

My partner is a Black Knight, but they also cost 300, but they are pretty capable. They stood up well against 2* Dryad at level 1, plus they pull aggro damn well.
