Ahh. I'm not going to send mine in for a repair. I bought it used and its always bothered me that there's discoloration on the white... >_>; and the screen is a little scratched from frantic Trauma Center surgery.

What sucks the most is that I don't have enough money for it right now. Fortunately my birthday is coming up, so unless I want to sell back $80 in stuff to my work... yeah. It'll be until May before I can replace it.

Seriously, when you get on the phone with the guy, try and talk to him about seeing if there's a way to lower the price. Couldn't hurt. ^_^; I wasn't afraid to try. Sure, it only knocked off $10 but, 75 is far better than 85!

I spoke with a very friendly lady named Unity about the situation. It'd need to be like $40 before I'd consider repair a valid option.

The biggest downside to me is that the DSi battery is only 9-12 hours on the lowest light setting... seriously, I loved that my DS hardly ever seemed to need charging. But I guess if the trade-in credit lowered the price to less than $90 I'd be tempted. Since I only own one GBA game, I guess losing the backwards compatibility wouldn't be that bad.

That's what I need to find out. I'll have to talk to my friend at GameStop about it...

;__; I think I'll try to keep playing Platinum, just be very careful with it...

Muahaha! Through the careful use of a rubberband, I have fixed my DS! It is now at least playable until I can afford a replacement ^^;

Now, off to catch me a Gible!
