Playing me some Earthbound! I have Paula and I'm working her on Moles and Battys before trying to take down her first Bear. I understand some gamers wait and come back for this Sanctuary, but I always do it right away. It's good to have Paula up to level before Threed.

But the bears look so cute in that game! Give em a hug!

There are some weird challenges out there, like "Only using auto-fight" or "Never using PSI powers" or, even weirder, the fellow who wanted to max-level Ness before leaving Onett. He was two weeks into it and at level like 45 when I stopped following his thread on Starman.

I've always wanted to get bat from winters using Jeff and fighting Goats for picnic lunches and crows for cookies. I tried once, but after 4 hours I just gave up.

I do usually make a pit-stop for the criminal caterpillar in Dusty Dunes, though. <3

I don't think I've ever been into those strange conditional ways of playing games. Yeah I like to change things up but I want to have fun. ^-^; I especially don't like those ones where you need to kill off your entire party except one character and play it like that.

I agree, Elys. Take Zelda for example. I could NEVER be able to do a speed run of it. It just detracts from the game. I like to savor - go around and talk to everyone again - or in like TP stand there and stare around at the scenery.

The only game I ever speedrun is Metroid. And that is because you are actually rewarded with a different image of Samus. I'm not a completionist but I am an art buff and a huge fan of Samus Aran. :)

I really should try to get into the metroid games. Most of the images I see of Samus, she actually seems to manage to keep her clothes on, and after that distasteful art last released by Atlus for Steal Princess, I've got a bad taste in my mouth.

I knew what it was referring to. You always make me giggle, even when you don't intend to. That was no exception. I just rarely express how I feel on the Internet. Instead I have fake cheerfulness.

"Justin Bailey" is a code you could enter in the original Metroid that let you play Samus without her suit on. I couldn't find a screencap for it, but on the old NES it looked like she was nude.

It's not a name, but it's actually "Just in bailey" where as bailey is Australian slang for swimsuit; basically, she was running around in a bikini!
